Here's my take on the so called "Game Balance"

Predator:|

  • Buff overall health
  • Reduce second wind recharge to 30 seconds
  • Allow Pred to use FT medkits
  • Reduce damage on bow and combistick throw headshots
  • Add a 3 second timer to activate bear traps

Fireteam:

  • Reduce reinforcement mission timer to 30 seconds
  • All radios should spawn in the map, reinforcement is to be chosen based on the closest proximity when the mission is available
  • Limit Yautja’s bane to secondary weapon and/or alter its bonus curve to a logarithmic function so weapons that do the most damage have less bonus while weapons that do less damage get the most bonus
  • Reduce sniper rifles damage
  • Either fix AI spawning or reduce the damage they deal. Also fix armored soldiers since their damage resistance is not consistent. Makes no sense that they can take almost the same damage as a pred but can die from a single headshot.

The predator already has the pigs why the care kits. If not for the rest it’s good

Because pigs are broken. Sometimes they have 15 and sometimes none. Also it would be fair, since it’s the same amount of healing for everybody. Would also force preds to exercise caution when deciding to destroy them.

I think they should remove all damage enhancing perks from game (for both sides).
Lower damage from all sources by 30%.
Make net brake the moment you hit the guy used the net on. Make it a flat 4 second net with only holding down the F button to get out. This is a big issues in randoms where you have 1-2 good people and those get needed and its over. Now at least those can fight back.
Pigs need to be max 5 and spawn all the time.

Then put a bonus based on premades. If you have 3 people or more in a premade, give predators a buff similar to last man standing BUT based on the class they are using. For instance, if he is berserker he get’s more stamina and speed. If he is a scout, give more health. As well as some other stuff like perhaps better stealth, I don’t know. This needs a lot of testing.

I really dont agree with any of these changes.
As for the bear traps requiring 3 seconds to be used, how would they be used at all if they can broken then?

They’re too easy to see and hear.
You would have to remove any way if detecting them.

I will agree with this, I mean it’s a trap, tou should not see or hear that. Just decrease the time you get blocked by trap and make them undetectible unless you have trapper perk , that now cost 6. It can be a good change.

Their hands are to big to operate them properly

1.pred shouldn’t be able to use ft medkits
2. Combi isn’t op at all it doesn’t need a nerf

To make it balanced revert it too beta that’s when it felt the best

The only reason it’s like this is cuhz ppl couldn’t pass the learning curve and sucked even tho I’ve been easily killing preds and ft (pubs) since beta

Ft is broken I mean i don’t like the medkit concept at all but it’s not op?!

I really don’t think the combi or the bow needs another nerf its already the easiest parried weapon outside of Wristblades and the bow already has enough issues without doing even less damage although I do agree preds need a little more health or possibly some location based damage reduction if you hit the armor as opposed to an exposed spot. And maybe the PC gets a reduced charge time

This game will never be stealthy, no matter how much you guys ask for. Is clear illfonic doesn’t have the experience to do so.

nerf is just for headshot throw. combo attack is fine

mostly because unless you are at full health, is a one shot weapon

sadly, with AI as broken as it is, you are never at full health unless you are wasting medkits, syrenges or camping/hiding in a rooftop

Which to be honest, it should be, its a giant spear flying through your head. Given that its not easy to land a headshot with the throw in the first place, and that you immediately lose your weapon as soon as you attempt it; I’d say the damage output is fine as it is. The Predators ranged weapons in general are already much weaker than ever before, without at least one attack that has the possibility to down a FTM quickly rather than having to play whack a mole with 4 different health bars then it will make the balance in this game even more one sided.

Right when is FT getting headshot dmg on predator removed then? Mask is a bigger target than a fireteam members skull and FT weapons aren’t even projectile lol.

I would love a mask on FT that would protect my upper body from damage. I could “head” tank the predator’'s melee attacks.

Y’all are missing the point here so let me be a bit more clear.

All my suggestions have one simple goal… EXTEND MATCH TIME.

Right now as it is, matches finish in less than 5 minutes because the damage output on both factions is too great for the amount of health given.

Missions take 5 min.
The devs expectation is 1 clip to kill pred.
Reinforcements take too long to become available, which encourages the pred player to go for an all or nothing full wipe.
Reinforce gives FT all their gear back which discourages doing anything other than completely wiping the FT or only killing 1 person while spending the rest of the match draining 30 heals without killing others.

A 30 second timer on second wind? Why so you have to chase the pred every game? Rewarding predators for losing their entire healthbar because its easy to kill them?
