Heres to hoping.....

So…

I am truly hoping this next DLC changes the game.

Not too sure how many people are feeling about this.

I just cannot stomach, another single character DLC when the community has begged and begged for more content to be released in this game.

The silence can be taken as some form of money hype machine from Sony’s top down or whatever, but this has to be the dumbest ride of a hype wave I have ever been apart of.

This game will be an amazing game for the 5000 people that actually stick it out.

But why kill your own game?

Why not make people happy instead of mad and still accept their money?

Sorta sad when you are a long time fan of the franchise and see it being treated the way it is.

Maybe I can eat my words one day!

Heres to hoping for a humongous thank you through a giant content drop for this game next DLC.

Not too sure if I can handle a single character dlc drop for this title…

I don’t think next DLC will add anything significant. The first two DLCs focus on adding balance changes and bug fixes with some new content like Dutch etc.

This gives lead time for devs to develop more robust content for later DLCs which will add more significant items like maps and game modes.

It’s been two months. Red Dead Online can’t put out a new role in half a year and that’s a triple A studio.

Hope for maps and stuff but not a giant content drop 60 days in.

still doesn’t excuse the literal no active communication with their customers/community

As in here on the forums instead of posting stuff on their twitter?

DLC and Bug fixes are two different things. We shouldn’t expect for fixes as DLC. What we need is need maps and improvements to the current gameplay, not more P2W (dutch) contents.

We need something man.

I will throw up my lunch if it’s a single character DLC drop again.

2 maps with accompanying modes. AT THE VERY LEAST

1 DLC character weather it be Harrigan or another awesome character.

This version of their hunt mode, especially with the private lobbies not working and matchmaking craching 1/3 games… very disheartening.

I hope something big comes.

Dont use Twitter and I’m waiting for action since they choose to not use words lol

I feel like Illfonic is that attractive person you’re trying to get with.

You text em “hey what’s up!”
Illfonic: “hey I’m busy can we talk later”

Than goes on a spree of photos and smothering it all over social media while you sit there in a fit or rage.

They need to either ditch Sonys advice on riding their hype wave ideas

Or just begin to give us the impression they care by communicating…

Illfonic’s media attention has personified to that much.
I don’t know how the original post can describe such an akward thing.
I think we have media types here begging us to cry like babies and think were just a bunch of punk kids waiting for their next hit…but we’ve waited pretty much since the beginning of time for this.

and we got it. We’re not crying out for more which is the problem for them.

They should fuckin get a life.

Patience, dude.

Fingers crossed… hope so too.

I think we forget we’re not in a relationship with illfonic and they owe us nothing. We are customers who bought a product. Maybe I’m aging myself, but back in the day, you bought a game and that was it. Glitches, hitboxes and frame rate were set.

Now of course gaming culture has changed, but this “gimmie gimmie gimmie, I deserve ‘X’” is obnoxiously childish. You bought a base game and they game you a base game. That’s it. There were no DLC promises made. I paid $40 and got $40 worth of gaming this last month.

Would communication and transparency be nice? Of course. But expecting them to speak when they’re not ready to speak is EXACTLY how we get unfinished games at release and half assed promises.

Illfonic is not a triple A studio. They literally have 78 employees. Chill out with the literal demands.

All gaming companies use DLCs to address bugs, look up any game’s DLC patch notes — and you’ll see the new additions to the game which are very finite; then followed by a litany of bug fixes, balancing changes, and exploits removed.

Nobody’s saying we don’t need new maps, game modes or other gear items etc… but more robust content requires longer lead times for creative strategy, designing, coding, testing, and adjustments based on those tests.

Studios like Rockstar Games is a good example of this trend, they release several DLCs per year as well as host online events with in-game bonuses, cosmetics and cars. The smaller DLCs are spread out to constantly have a flow of smaller trinkets, but Rockstar doesn’t reveal a major DLC until May/June then another major DLC just before Christmas.

So, they put out 2 Big DLCs per year and a bunch of small DLCs, and that’s Rockstar, a Triple AAA gaming company.

It’s been less than two months since Predator: Hunting Grounds’ launch we are not going to get a major DLC with maps, game modes and all the bells and whistles soon — they take time to create and implement. the 3-6 month window is when things of that nature might be released.

Hmm… realistically Evolve servers have been shut down and the game left to die once the playerbase has dropped to overall 3000-5000 players… online that is daily lol…

The only way they can save the game now is DO the Paid DLC’s right (hear me out on this) But mainly focus in free content and basically give out more free content than paid DLC right… so lets say in next update they do like a city hunter or something skin or class for predator… NOW for the free content wise they have to give us a lot of stuff we can play around and our brain wont be able to comperhand the content and there will always be stuff to explore…

So you agree with me or your lumping me in as a “crybaby”?

Would much prefer see my money I worked for put to better use than they have and leaving a suspended amount of disbelief on my end in hope we get something good.

Cant change my mind and make me feel as if I havent wasted my.money to some degree when they could just put out a playable version of the game.

My opinion weather you agree or disagree lol.

Sad they probably wont go this route with their first dlc being the biggest name of their franchise with some tapes it sounds like he recorded in 45 minutes.

Amazing non-the-less.

Just very copy and paste to me rather than organic.

Sort of feel that if they have a list of things they are going to deliver… they should deliver upon it? Then if they cant say… I dont know… why?

Crossplay being a huge one, me not caring for it cause I have it off… they will legit get sued if they cant deliver lmfao and the player base that bought this game will leave.

If i pay money for a product that doesnt work. Regardless if it’s a video game…

Wouldnt that company be scrutinized as delivering an unfinished game/product?

Gamers attacking other gamers for the sake of hoping something good comes along, are the same gamers that made games 1/18 of what they should be at launch and just feed into games through DLCs out of their own pockets…

I want at least half of this pie and we ain’t even gotten crumbs yet.

Come on…

Very valid feelings. We deserve to feel upset and cheated. But we are customers not partners. Our only recourse short of a legal battle is “voting with our wallet”. Like people who thought F13 was broken and ignored, why did they continue to support illfonic?

The only time in the entire history of gaming where something was changed because people threw a hissy fit was the loot box system in SW Battlefront2. And that was on a massive global scale.

There isn’t enough positive press for this game for negative press to make a difference.

See if you consider vloggers/ reviews for games as alternative media, then you have TONS of positive coverage of PGH. But go to any official article based publicist and you have all the negative press. And as for Negative vlogging/reviews, nobody will cover this game negatively unless that is their schtict, or their style of coverage. So what is there to trust? Trust your own opinion because ALL reviews are bias be it positive or negative.
