They put out an update a month. No one can tell you here why they are not responding. I suggest messaging the devs directly.

i cant believe that after all the screaming of 1.08 spot spamming that 1.09 has not done a dam thing for spot spamming.
I paid 40 for the pre order, paid for the dutch dlc even though ive never played as fireteam just to support illfonic. No more cash from my wallet till they fix the spotting/insta reveal and continue to highlight predator location.

Im really hoping they play against people online and not just private games. I think the PC spotting is where it is bad and i dont think they are balancing for pc primarily. Resources were put into the spotting system so i think they may be hesitant to just pull out a mechanic completely. I would suggest an event where mechanics such as spotting are changed with warning well in advance and an official feedback survey so they can get data and make informed changes. It can be advertised as no spotting or something for a week with additional rewards and see how the community reacts. Then based on that phase in no or tweaked spotting system. Some design choices are questionable and dont seem to be in touch with how people are actually playing the game. Considering the amount of bugs its fair to say we are the QA team might as well use us to balance the game too.

Again like i said when i first created the topic i flagged the devs and got a response saying dont flag us we are looking at the forum. So they were aware of this post the day it was created. They either plan or do not plan on changing spotting, their MO however seems not to communicate anything in regard to changes before they happen.

you need spotting, fire team needs be able to least know where the predator was last located because it gives the predator player an advantage over the fireteam ,plus with the game being on the epic store you have to have a mike to speak to other people play it,there is no hold and speak opition and plus some people don’t have mikes, so how are you suppose to tell anyone anything eg where the predator is , how much time is left in the game? That one is a no brainer
