Ive tagged you cause you guys are the only active source of illfonic on here.

Please for the love of all that is holy, make the mask more durable, harder to destroy.

I just played a match where this one guy shot the hammerhead randomly, (I was cloaked he really didn’t know where I was lol) but landed a lucky shot, and shot my mask off in like 3-5 shots.

I’ve kinda given up on asking for balanced damage.
However how easy the mask is to destroy is a joke.
It always has been, but after the last 2 recent patches it’s way too ridiculous.

Considering how much you lose when the mask is gone it should be an extremely hard task to destroy it.

It should take no less than 10 shots with the bolt action sniper, and two clips with any other weapon.

It’s not like its happened often, and like I said the dude landed a lucky ass guess shot.
Which was kind of funny.

But it’s not balanced, or fair that so many things are stacked against pred.
This one is a reasonable and easy fix request.

If you disagree then at least explain why without being sarcastic, or any stupid shit.
For all we know you might make a point I agree with.

But simply trying to shut me down for no reason or explanation, gets us nowhere.

If it’s a rare occurrence that happened due to freak luck, then it has no effect on the actual game balance. The predator mask strength also effects the amount of post-kill damage you need to do to a predator before being able to begin defusing.

Balance changes should be focused on things that are frequent issues of inbalance and should have little or no effect on other core mechanics of the game. You’ve picked one that is exceedingly rare and which has more effect on another core mechanic than it does on the primary balance.

And that is why I said Illfonic should listen to a Judas Priest song instead of you.

First off, I’m not talking about when the pred is downed.
That’s completely different topic tho I see your concern.

I dont want or feel it needs increased during that scenario.

It’s a rare occurence TO ME,
But not In general.

After testing it out when I think 2.11 came out i noticed the mask was easier to destroy.

But the mask being easy to destroy has always been a problem.
It takes only two sniper shots to take off.

Any person who isn’t a complete fucking idiot will agree that’s unbalanced.

Now on top of snipers, every other gun is destroying the mask too easily.

This needs to be finally addressed and changed.
And this is a minor request considering all the other shit that needs to happens for the game to get to a better state in terms of balance.

So I get your concern, and in that sense, I would agree with you.

But we are not talking about pred in downed state, we are talking about while pred is alive.

You trying to shut me down for no real reason and being sarcastic is pretty petty and childish tho.

This leads back to shutting him down for no reason other than FT need no Nerf get gud argument, and I would have to say that the motion detector needs to be placed as a clash only weapon, as this makes the game currently imbalanced for hunt, though I do think protection for mask might help with this issue plus you’ll get a guaranteed SD along with the fact that FT as a whole has more toxicity to it due to the over protection of balancing their side v predator community asking for fair balancing.
Though there are some FT who understand that the game should be balanced but are drowned out by the toxic FT mains screeching for pred Nerf.

had a team shooting motion detectors like an hour ago… you know what works against motion detectors? DESTROYING THEM WITH THE CASTER…

You guys complain that FT has it easy but JFC seems like what you want is easy mode for pred.

If I, after only a few weeks playing pred, can win 80% of my matches… I cannot imagine how many I would win if I had any buffs and how fucking boring it would be.

PUBS are too difficult for y’all? Get some friends and play some privates and buff the pred as much as you want

Again motion dectors can be slapped back if they have ammo bags plus they would be on you as soon as your spotted so this leaves you wide open my good FT main who thinks he’s already better than most players here.
Also most predators want a fair fight instead of having to deal with multiple gadgets that strip the predator of any of his resources not to mention how pigs spawn along with dealing with death squads who usually run supports with field medic so it’s kinda hypocritical of you to even assume it if you haven’t had enough hours as a predator in the game, and I had enough hours as FT to recognize when shits broken.

I’ve taken way more mask compared to the few times I’ve lost mine, but sure.
I suck.
