Hi all! Made a return for a question!

Looking for people’s advice on what to get for a reliable car. Just looking for a decent reliable car that still looks nice as hoping to get a nice Waverunner so would rather put money into that rather than an unreliable car that’s going to go wrong and can’t even use with the UKs road conditions anyway!

yeh! good on you…put wheels on that waverunner and you’re good to go on the roads!

You stupid, you’d have to put another set of handlebars on the other side in order to put wheels on all of them

With so poor info it’s hard to give an advice.
Petrol? Diesel? Sedan? Coupe? Sports Wagon? New? Old?
Anyhow i would go for germanbor japanese cars. There’s no more reliable tham that…

Cars have been unreliable since pretty much the early 2000’s. They come with plastic parts, unrepairable transmissions, full of complex electronics and sensors that when past their “shelf life” end up being money pits. Even Toyotas and Hondas, which used to be great, are no longer that reliable. American cars have been unreliable since the 80’s, unless you get a truck or fleet van.

Best advice is to get a new one with a 5-10 year bumper to bumper warranty and get ready to invest money or sell it once the warranty is over.

Or, if you are lucky, get a “sports car” like a Celica, 350Z, G35, G37, etc. that belonged to a grandpa (do not buy from young people), preferably automatic. Chances are an automatic from an old dude was not punished and just used on the weekend and those cars were designed to be pushed, so there’s plenty of life left in them even if they have high mileage.
