This happened to me the first time yesterday. One guy hid there, I heard about the exploit. So I knew it was that. I destroyed all other FT they called the chopper because I let them. Second last guy goes towards the chopper so I net him and see the exploiter running towards the chopper? I didn’t know they could leave the rock but as I melee downed the second last dude it FUCKEN AUTO CLAIMED AND THE PIECE OF SHIT ESCAPED!

There’s a spot in the middle of Backwater where FT do an objective, they have to wait by a laptop in a two story structure by the side of a dirtpath. There’s a small pickup with a barrel at the bottom of the steps…
It’s possible to get beneath the struts that hold up the second floor and totally hide in there, safe from slams and splash damage from plasma caster is negligible provided you can get the angle as I’ve just learned. I had a sniper camping there and kept taking chunks of my health whenever I entered his LOS. Credit to the others, when I was cloaked in the bushes using the Hand Held they used grenades to flush me out and zeroed in on my position due to the XP rewards from splash damage🙄 I tried Smart Disc, but I was restricted to angles of attack because of the sniper camping there.
It’s not an under the map exploit like this, but similar to the way you can get beneath the village walkways down at the fishing village. You get someone in those spots, it’s a nightmare trying to get them out😡
Backwater is just the fucking worst map all round. Laggy as hell, the fishing village is basically a cloaked Predators kryptonite and all these map exploits are migraine inducing.
If you want to play sniper , bolt action plus UMP is the best class. Shotguns unfortunatly are bad because the fire rate is too slow if the predator jump on u for the melee. Vektor is too powerfull, you can shoot one entire mag in few seconds , ump has good damage and good recoil so you can use it as an assault rifle (better then the first for sure). At the moment there are no reason to use shotgun except for having fun 😂
I want my CS-12 to be great again. The AI version has good range and does noticeable damage to FT, yet we get the Diet/Lite version🙄
The Backwater under map exploit has been in the game for at least 2 months now. The other spots where FT camp under structures happen because of the crouch-jump mechanic allowing them to get into spots they wouldn’t normally be able to. So they’d either have to block all the entrance spots or rework/remove the crouch-jump (which would also stop FT getting access to certain rooftops, which I’m all in favour of😏).
