Hey Folks so I’m just wondering if there’s any productive hints or tips players can give to another, I’d preferably like to keep this forum friendly so please try to do the same ☺👍.
So I’ve noticed between playing as the predator and ft on ps4 a few things that may help others in gameplay.
-
When first starting as ft, it is best to “mud up” but did you know even if you are mudded up the moment you start to sprint the predator can track your sound motion when it has its infa-red?
Yes the predator can track your foot steps but since you’re sprinting you’re causing more trail for the predator to track so if you’re wanting to have a sneaky operation and hide from the predator early on try your best to run at the normal pace. This should also keep all members of ft together as well hopefully giving players better defence and not straying away from another. -
With knife equipped you have multiple actions of melee making much it more effective. Example I use the default controller settings on ps4 but normally I only used R2 to attack with the knife equipped, this is due to not using other buttons for attack but L2,R2 and R3 is a chance for you to get a good combination going.

By highlighting objects found in the map such ammo crates, health packs, metals fragments and gun crates you gain extra XP points and your team members can also follow the highlighted object if needed.

As the predator if a ft member kills a wild boar along their travels, on your main map you will have the point of death giving you health if needed but also helps you know what area a member of the ft are.
5.As a ft member if the predator is taken down first continue to shoot it in the head until the mask comes off and the creature is fully down, the quicker the better as you need abit of time to defuse the bomb. Defusing the bomb successfully will allow you to continue the mission and keeping the body in a good condition the better the condition the better the pay out.
I know a lot of these points may seem obvious to a lot of you here but any advise and tips for others may help ☺
