I’m not sure why people coming up with this stuff have to reach so much with some of the concepts and all try to do something different.
-They were ascended by another civilization or stole technology hence the primitive culture.
-Slaving makes sense given how anytime we see a human using predator tech it seems to be piss easy to operate & dumbed down for the user rather than anything complex/DNA locked etc etc. Most complex thing we see onscreen are the ships and they take a couple button presses to operate and autopilot.
-Honor code is something people turned into pure anti-hero AvP save the world from aliens nonsense.
“Honor code” in the sense that you don’t have fun blasting lion cubs with an elephant rifle but not fucking klingon honor. Killing the baby lion/pregnant woman means thats one less big lion to kill and thats probably where predator empathy begins and ends. The notion that you invite the thing you were hunting for fun back to your planet to hang out with the boys because they are now your equal since they killed something that ran into their spear is idiotic.
They’re sport hunters and sore losers at the end of the day.
-Clans do their own dumb political shit and have different traditions/rules that lead to infighting.
-Super predators are some inbred spartan assholes trying to meme themselves into being the master race because they’re a foot taller and think they’re too cool for thermal netting despite dying to katanas.
-Predator ironman suits seem to be a universal NO.
-Kill glands are a NO
-Harvesting autism is a NO
How hard is all that? Why the frog DNA or the climate change invasion?
