Just listened to the arguments for/against raising minimum wage from Bernie and Graham. Bernie makes point about walmart and Graham about small business. Both are correct to an extend, but still not on the same page. Nobody wants to get in the middle cause it’s impossible to find a solution for that
How about they focus on making providing a roof over your head more accessible and not the end goal?

Not quite sure what happened, whether it was COVID or that the gov there was ready to fall apart. I remember wat back, cali was in debt after dutch years, but the new admin turned that around and they were in the profit. Even though it could mean that they taxed more, but since it kept working, it must have also meant that the state was ripe for business
It’s pretty bad in CA at the moment. I am lucky to have a job but it is impossible to find affordable housing. Since the housing crisis prices have just skyrocketed on homes. It’s really frustrating growing up in a market and seeing it crash and then rise again only to realize you are still on the outside, it does give you perspective.
They really did that to themselves, State’s rights
I don’t think the cost of living can go down. It’s a one way street. They can only increase wages

The real kicker was the unions complaining about how they feel betrayed by joe over fracking, after they proudly endorsed him as “pro america , pro jobs and pro family”, all while he was funded by planned parenthood and on his first day in office he signed an executive order to fund abortions abroad 🤣🤣🤣🤣 then kills thousands of jobs , singlehandedly destroys womens sports over letting trans men compete against biological women , after 3 days he has troops invade and suddenly Americans can expect illegals as neighbours and it will be magically legal . Its not even been 6 weeks 😁

And the stimulus cheques they bribed people to get their vote with? Kiss that goodbye , and by some small coincidence alot of his appointees over lap in fields where they could stand to cash in some $$$$$ with policies they can approve themselves? The gamestop fiasco? Yeah the people in government used the very tactics they are shooting at now to make money of their own . Government needs stripped and started from scratch
