EXACTLY! It has “Good Bones”, but it needs a lot of work to get up to being worth the money we spent on it…
Honest opinions, will they fix this game?
True. Unless they fix the Predator, playing without friends is quite lame. The predator is so damn easy to spot and hear your only option most of the time is to desperately run in swinging or avoid them completely just poking at them from the distance while they slowly diminish your health. I’m watching the first predator movie and literally none of the cool aspects of the predator were included in the game. Here he’s just some troll stomping around the jungle while you do your mission. Not at all as badass as the movie. Not at all.

I do belive the controls are tighter because on PC the game doesnt even respond to me pressing keys when i REALLY need it to. Especially getting off trees…double tap C…stupid but ok…aaaaand it doesnt work. Shot 50 times in my predballs, gg.
Same goes for jump, leap and charge the caster, i have to fight the controls to enjoy the game.

As someone who’se been with these guys since the Friday the 13th beta, they do listen and they do fix, it just takes them a while. They completely re-animated Jasons grab attack at community request, made smaller maps to make matches quicker, and kept tweaking things as long as they could. Show some faith and it will be rewarded.
The balance argument will go on forever like it always does with these types of games so be prepared to never be satisfied and the devs cant really help that. Illfonic will support the game, how is that even a question?
I honestly don’t know… i hope they will, but i’m need to see a couple patches to get a bead on where they are planning to take things… 🤷🏻♂️
Self detonate doesn’t work either. And why are they several binds for the same function. Like leap, leap/interact/jump? How can three functions be bound to one key? That is impossible and will cause malfunctions like we’re seeing. Also climbing trees. I’ve lost count of how many times the pred misses and just jumps in the air and then floats there for a few seconds. This game is so broken it’s not even funny.
They tweeted today that they are fixing up another update fixing balancing and bugs so let’s see how that goes

the game is not finished. It’s not because it has a high price that it means it is finished. Insurgency Sandstorm released almost two years now, if I recall, and the devs are still patching up some minor stuff plus it is poorly optimized on a lot of PCs.
Game has been out for 5 days and has a lot of potential on top of the already fun matches. Stop jumping to conclusions.
I bought the game after watching some Beta Gameplays and I must say: I expected it to be worse at launch than it actually was, and the game has indeed improved after the patch.
If you know, then you know, not tryna help people abuse this mechanic on the forum.
