There’s a book called on killing by Lieutenant Colonel David grossman, he kind of turned into a terrible person later in his life but he talks about how there are many instances in war where squads were “shouted” out of their positions into a retreat. If you look at the military tactic of a shield wall, often the two forces would shout obscenities and taunts at each other in the hopes that it would go to them into breaking their formation and rushing the more composed squad, leading to them being obliterated. People are always going to say that Odd Job is not fair to play in Goldeneye or spamming bicycle kick with Liu Kang are cheap or cheating and it’s really just a sad attempt to get you to lower your play level.
