So, Im harrasing early on instead of going all in… but they are completeing missions WAAAAAAAY too quickly. I barely have a 8 minute match sometimes before they exfil… and thats not enough time to do anything… Im sitting there spamming plasma and combi but im not doing much.
How do I fight the FT as Predator?

You need to play fireteam enough to know what missions they could be doing when you load in, eventually you’ll know where they’re headed and even what objectives they need to worry about relative to the map.
Since you can’t really trap radios at the beginning of the match anymore (you can but it’s tedious and a waste of time), your first priority is locating fireteam. You can do it immediately when they spawn in… but I like to spend the first minute getting to center map. Around 1350, hit your scanner and they’ll 9/10 times be totally unmudded and engaged in the mission.
Don’t bother with melee unless you’re 100% sure you’re gonna down someone. If you wanna light a fire under their asses, claim one or two players, then down the remaining two back and forth until they’re skull tagged… let them reinforce, kill the two skull tagged players, and the rest of the game is a joke.

Going into camps and enabling the alarm will not only deprive them of XP but you’ll have more bodies to throw at them. They’ll be focused more on Stargazer than they will be you.

Circle around. Fireteam is really only as deadly as the gun they have pointing in front of them. Hit from behind or attack at odd angles but always be sure you can escape.
Take notes while playing Fireteam. You’ll see what other players are doing be it yourself and your team and other Predators. Note what they’re doing at objectives to try and get to them first to plan traps or exploit blind spots. You also want to pin them down. Run out resources since they’ll potentially run out the clock or cut down resources so you can take them. You’re stronger than they are and the wristblades will do just fine. You don’t always need a battle ax.

Ok first off - start playing hybrid - half your games must be FT. You will learn all the weaknesses of FT and you will see and feel what works against them.
Second thing : what level are you in game (what classes, gear and weapons are at your disposal just now) Taking that in to account, go to https://www.predatorhuntinggrounds.com/ and, using the rich info there, try to build a class that will suit your game style.
One last thing - if you see a lobby of PC death squad - don’t quit the lobby. Yes you will most then likely loose like a bitch, but even more likely you will learn a thing or two. Next time you see them, you will be able to get that one step closer

There are no weaknesses to fireteam my guy. If best ft players wanted to they wouldn’t lose a single match to any predator in the world by abusing broken perks, specs and classes. But I agree about playing both sides

You need to slow them down give no time to think about objectives. Constantly attacking them
Once you know where helicopter is put traps under it so they get trapped when try to get out
Smart disc or bow are both good way to attack. Not just Plasma as plasma uses too much energy which you need for cloaking
Uhmm, yes there are. There are glaring weaknesses to both Fireteam and Predator. Some of them are vomit inducing.
My builds change too much to say what my build is. Im trying to find the right one.
For predator atm, I am running Viking Predator((Basically berserker)), with Katana and Combistick. I am using only healing syringes atm. For perks I have impenetrable, modified reserve and Fearless.
How do I enable alarms for camps as a predator? Just shoot a plasma at the AI?
I play both Fireteam and Predator. I play mostly Fireteam.
My level is 26 atm, as I am a fresh player. Just got the game yesterday. Mostly fireteam so the 30% boost to leveling up is nice.

Play 50-50 and you will learn fast - each side has pros and cons. FT insane power is in team work. Honestly - take the best FT player in game, give him a meta loadaout, but put him in a team of newbies that won’t cooperate and I can guarantee, against a half decent pred, that best player is dead meat. On the other hand, take 4 average/good players with loadouts complimenting each other, put them on comms, have them to discus tactics before the match - even the best preds in game will have a run for their money.
At your level, best option (ONLY IN MY OPINION) is Hunter with elder sword. Experiment with different weapons and perks, some are better then others against SOME FT tactics. Oh, and NEVER walk in to a building when taunted by FT to do so – instant death sentence

I just unlocked the Smart Disk so I am gonna try Smart Disk alongside Katana or maybe hammer/axe
Smart disk is all fun and games but you need to be smart about it ;-) Use it with downrange perk for increas damage and on Stalker or Analitic specialization. Remember to jump away after retreving it - semi aware FT members will follow its trail to you

those are good perks if you want to go pure melee - disc is not good for that. It’s a range weapon, best launched from cover. I know that brute melee can be very appealing at the beginning, but with better teams it will not work. Experiment with different game styles, I’m sure you will find something for yourself
