How do you melee in trees?

I only ever do this on accident.
And its awkward bumping into the enemy pred fully cloaked on a branch.

When you’re jumping to a branch you hit the melee button though this is unreliable I just use the PC or pistol while people tried to do the melee thing.

Maybe its intentional and you’re only supposed to jump to the ground once you’re fed up with eachother’s ranged shenanigans?

Manually leaping onto the branch shouldn’t auto transition into sheath-weapons-parkour mode. Seems like an easy way to adjust pred pursuits.
