How does a PC player add a ps4 player to a party? (we cant get it to work)

Does anyone know how to add players on PS4 to a party if u on PC? were friends on epic and my epic is linked but it doesnt work, and the pc player doesn’t see me as a friend in game. He can’t do anything from the epic friend menu either.

UPDATE I know see him on my in game friends list so something worked. What I did was goto options general link. Duh right, but I thought this was already on a long time ago because crossplay was on.

If he can’t see you through the menu after it’s refreshed, he has to restart app after adding you.

Once added ps4 players can’t add to PC player lobbies. The PC player needs to add everyone to the lobby.

Then you invite through the friends tab on the main menu.

Lol, thanks. I know see him on my in game friends list so something worked. What I did was goto options general link. Duh right, but I thought this was already on a long time ago because crossplay was on.

Tell the ps4 players to go into their privacy settings and check to make sure everything is kosher

I had the same issue but corrected it by changing some privacy setttings

Is your epic games account linked with the game? Usually if it is they show up on your friends list in game? It usually shows they but you can’t click on them ? Maybe you create a party in the menu and can invite them that way? I only have ps4 friends so I’ve never actually tried it myself
