Jump in and get back out. Just be sure that the FT is not ready for that or it will not be a good trade for you.
How does a PRED actually loose?
I always do that, locally is not a safe thing, but is one of few viable option with the range nerf of the actual patch. Hope they improve the quick execution time to be more viable and get punish less.
I play about 50-50 pred and ft. Iām decent at both but I deffo think the ft has too many advantages. Reinforcements should not be taken out but should have a min 60 sec wait and reinforce people with half ammo and no syrettes. If the pred kills me once why should he have to kill me all over again while Iām fully loaded?
Give the pred one more use of the medkit too Iād say as pig hunting just wastes time.
Donāt you think winning 80 games in a row against even good preds kinda shows the ft is op? I mean I play ft with a buddy and 2 randoms and we win about 75%.
2nd wind is nuts. Iāve jumped around like crazy and still had lightning fast scouts catch me. They should let you cloak and predkour.
Just seems like right now the game should be called Fireteam: Predator Hunters.
Ps Iām glad I donāt play on pc anymore as Iād be killing preds like flies using a mouse to aim.
As a Predator main and recently Berseker addict(yeah yeah) I just put a lot of traps, motion detectors and use range and melee damage perks + large pouch to win.
I always poke with the Plasma caster and when I say this I mean full charged caster, If I manage to kill someone I usually Leap with energy on the downed person and either kill him and the others around him or either just kill the downed player and try to down and claim another one.
Then I go heal, at this time there are only 2 players left, thanks to my motion detectors (which I put to every monument) and bear traps + heatsignal (V->X) I can easly track the other 2 and finish them with the Combistick.
This is my mindset, the games varry a lot, but this mindset made me win most of my gamesā¦
You can down a FT member with 2 fully charged shots with the plasma caster. With bow its about 2-3 and if you fully charge headshot with the bow its a 1 shot down. I agree the Plasma caster should go back to being a 1 shot simply because it has a large charge time and its really easy to dodge.

But nah heās right, for our team this game is a viridium gem hunt, (we only stop chasing the pred if we see purple haha).

For us a win is where we either kill the pred (which is majority of games), or all escape with the pred hiding like a bitch or being forced back he just cant do anything to stop us.
We use mission pressure to draw them out, but sometimes they still dont show up yknow? And its not like we 5 min rush the objectives, we generally only leave in the last 2 mins because we like to loot the whole map for Varidium and would prefer to kill the predā¦ The only point of a bunch of level 100ās playing this game.
You are not listening my point (and the point of most of people) , you are just boosting your ego, we all know that ft is stronger than pred if premade 4 x pc. I always win too as fireteam, today I did some premade games and win all. I dont care about your reasonings that you win every time. Keep calm, we all know and we all win in 4 x pc. But the balcance patch need to be considered in an avarage level of player, not you. Balance for both high level and avarage level need a lot of time. Hope they can do that as quick as possible to maintain alive this game.
See i think the balance issue isnt on the level of player, (although should always be balanced with top levels of play since people can train up to that ceiling).
But I think the issue is the platform. PS4 gameplay the FT seems actually kinda weak and a PS4 zerker can often rush in and stomp a PS4 FT. Without removing cross play, somethings gotta be considered about balancing PC players against it.
(and this isnt about ego, im not saying ālook how awesome we are with our win streakā im saying āThis shouldnt be possibleā¦ā in a topic where the OP is asking how/if the pred losesā¦
The problem is if they turn off the cross play (the difference from platform as you said is real and important) the game will be dead soon , specially for pc games. Btw Iām from EU server and I can play with you both ft and pred according to the circumstance. If you are from USA I will probabily have 200 ping unfortunatly.
I think reinforcements r not so OP thing in this game as Marker ability
I agree its not OPā¦especially since if u can anticipate it when there might be a isolated runner running off to go do it u can always intercept them
The problem is if they also balance for ps4 players they will just get dominated by pc players. Making predator stronger because a controller cant make precision shots as easily will make mouse and kb predator super easy.
