Honest question. Do they Spot and smoke you? Do they get away? What are YOUR wining conditions? DISCUS

When I run out of bear traps I start throwin boar corpses at them…Does a lot of dmg in this patch.

Our full premade FT has now won over 80 games in a row. I cant tell you how many Predators have made the same mistake over and over. Our loadout is typicaly 1-2 players with a LMG, 1 person with a sniper, 1 with the assualt rifle. Class wise we are fairly spreadout though none of use use recon however so we are usually 1 support 1-2assualts or 1-2 scouts.
The easiest Predators are the ones that entirely rely on their melee weapons and never ever use range. Our coordination makes sure we always have eachother covered so melee is suicidial. Our LMG members tend to shred Predators the second they go for melee and they will about 80% of the time go into Second Wind/Die before they down a player in Melee.
Second biggest mistake Predators make. Once they have managed to down one of us its like all logic goes out the window and they will try to take their head. Them being stuck in that animation is a guaranteed way to go to Second Wind/Die.
Third Biggest mistake. Predators Heal/recover from second wind. Too close to us. Our entire team chases the Predator always when he is injured. And the sound for the healing is loud as hell. Predators have got to start trying better at gaining distance before popping the heal. If they go for a melee and jump away either all of us are after him or 2 of us. If he downed someone one person always stays to pickup the downed member and the rest chase. The smart Predators in Second wind will run away and make us loose line of sight and then double back on us. We do not stop chasing till we hear that roar and again if it is near we will all rush to it. This goes for pigs as well. Those Preds that know to use pigs to heal but are still killing/eating them near us are dead because they cannot cancel the animation.

These are the three biggest sins you can do as a Predator against a premade/coordinated team. There are many more mistakes that they can make but those are the three biggest ones. The Predators that give us the biggest trouble are ones that know to heal at a large distance, trick us in second wind and double back, do a good combination of range/melee, begin to pressure us the second the match has started. The hardest Predator we have had so far was UK_Spawn but we still never felt like we were going to loose. There was a few points we thought he might kill 1-2 of us but we still managed to win against him as a full FT 3 times in a row. Once for every map so noone could claim a map advantage.

If you jump and press fast quick execution then instant jump away most of the time you don’t get killed. Some times the game has a bug that you see that you can press the buttom for quick execution but you have to press a lot of times to do that or move around (I don’t know if I explained myself well). That bug give FT extra sexonds to kill the Pred. Agree with the post in general. 4 x pc ft if they are very good are still op. But is not the case for the majority of player base. Predator is not that weak in this patch like the previous, especially if you learn how to play properly with Hunter and range weapon.

absolutely not. The animation for fast execution is still too long. 2 LMGS firing into a Pred whilst doing fast execution will second wind him. You can see in your own video that you yourself nearly went into second wind just from 1 guy who started shooting you at the start of the animation and in the middle of it the second guy joined in. Go watch your own video again you went from full hp to like 10hp before you got away against an uncoordinated team. Now imagine instead of 1 guy shooting at you and the second joining in late that all 3 FT members are shooting you.

For reference this happens at about 4:45 in your video.

All three of them were shooting me man I rewatch , and if you jump from a position without be too much predictable (with cloack axtive) they maybe lose one second tht can be important. Also not all people have usually LMG even if it is strong. The point is be carefull to call pred buff becuse majority of people are avarage and not pro (as how everyone defines themselves in this forum). I think a reinforcements nerf e spotted nerf can be enough right now, then let’s see the process, in my opinion of course.

The third one shot literally as you jumped away they did not all shoot at you from the start of the animation. The second and third joined in way too late. But I think overall the Predator is balanced if he is up against non premades and you are right a lot of Predators need to learn how to use Hunter with range weapons. Please understand that I do not consider myself a “pro” at this game and have never claimed as such I am simply stating the mistakes that our FT have noticed every Predator does and I am just saying the weaknesses I myself have observed after over 80 games of winning in a row.

I completely agree with reinforcement and spotting needing a nerf of some sort. The fact a dead player can come back with full hp, ammo, and gear is pretty insane.

Hi, I thought I would ask in case nobody has done it yet.
When you say 80 wins in a row, by what metric does your group define a win? A win as strictly defined by the game itself or do you also have other conditions? Thanks!

Also a huge buff can be that the quick execution becomes faster, that can help a lot the pred to get a kill and lose some hp but not too much

Or perhaps give a slight damage resistance to Predator during the animation? To simulate a “horror/fear” affect the sight of having their team mate’s spine ripped out has on the FT.

I like to down someone and if my location ain’t been made I’ll wait for a ft member to revive them then leap slam in, all though if the team is spread out well making this choice is a maybe, predator recovering from leap slam ain’t quick

I’m just going to say what I’ve been saying since release. Parry should incur 1/2 damage of the blow to the fireteam member on success. Not be a get out of jail free card.

I’ll respect any pc ft that don’t turn down the graphics

80 wins in a row with our premade team there are 6 of us in total and we play with whoever is online at the times we are playing. Myself and Corsin are always in the team though the other 4 rotate. We define it when we either kill the Pred/escape I would say about 75% of the time we kill the Predator. So basically any win that counts as a win for the FT.

I have mine set to the highest graphical options. The others run on high.

Slaming the downed guy is a great thing to do but only as long as you are not using the Combistick. We tested and the animation for the slam combistick in the ground is about 3-4 seconds long compared to the wristblades 2 seconds.

@Arrow_calls yes a faster quick claim would be much better. A good tactic for a pred is to simply shoot the downed FT member to death and just go back for the head later. Much safer than shooting the downed guy from a distance then running over to get stuck in the head claim animation.

Playing any FT of 4 on coms communicating is almost insta death, you can’t mele, smart players track the red trail of the arrows and they run the objective so fast the pressure is on you to finish them quick so you can’t chip away at their resources. Having said all that I’m a crap Pred anyway because I wait 15 min for a match and seem to always get a PC fireteam of 4.

It’s amazing that even when u can hear them speak using coms and u hear them say that they know where u are it does not make the game more easy at all.

Problem is they nerf a lot the caster and you cant insta kill a downed ft any more. Bow need 4 body shot and caster 4/5 hit. It’ hard to secure a kill without jumping in.

I don’t even know how you balance the game at this point either, because if you have a FT that isn’t communicating and doesn’t play together it’s easy kills for the Pred. SO do you balance the game on the high skills of both sides, because I don’t always have 3 other players to run with and getting wiped by a Zerker when nobody knows to parry in the first 2 min of a game gets agitating.
