What would be some good Scout perks/build to combat this?
How is a Scout supposed to win against 4 support Fireteam members all running Yauta's bane?
well facing 4 support is realy painfull they are tanky and if they all take ammo/healing supply it’s just impossible to win the attrition war
At the moment being the worst predator main in existence (me). I’d say its possible like you’d have to be on your p’s and q’s. I say run elder sword with bow, the bow is to deal damage from afar or quick shot them whichever your comfortable with, but when they have taken enough damage run in with the elder DO NOT CLAIM, I would consider that a trap. rinse and repeat with the rest. They are big bois they cant run that far from you but I highly consider knowing where respawn is first before you engage. Perks I’d suggest down range, fearless, and impenetrable. Gear is up to you, remember to farm pigs in between.
You wait until one of them makes a mistake, runs off alone, then you pick him, or if you manage to lure one away. If the Predator and Fireteam plays with the same kind of skill then i don’t think any Predator can deal with 4x Fireteam players staying together, watching eachother’s backs and constantly checks their surroundings.
I main as Scout, and obviously lose a good bit to well skilled or pre-med fireteams, I have also beaten my fair share and have been complimented by them, some tips:
I run this build:
Perks:
Dithered Lens (Most underrated perk by far; makes plasma caster targeting laser pretty much invisible)
Adrenal Boost (Leap for days, great with hit and run tactics with the Katana)
Down Range ( Could probably switch this one up, but I heavily favor plasma cast pot shots if FT is good, and more damage on that is always nice to have)
For Equipment I generally run with the Katana, Net Gun, Heal Kit, and Motion Tracker. The Katana works great with the Scout for hit and run tactics favoring it’s bleed damage; do a light + heavy attack, leap away, leap back, rinse and repeat.
You always want to wear them down with plasma cast pot shots before you engage; just be patient, always be moving, and practice.
Scout doesn’t really seem like a good predator to use anymore. Elder is basically the better version of the Scout. Personally, I’d use Hunter or City Hunter.
If you want to win against them, just make sure you keep your distance and hit them with lots of long range damage. Also remember that standing still with the cloak makes you completely invisible, so use that to your advantage.
