How many direct impact grenades does it take

now this is old, plz let me know if their is an updated version but for the wristblades I think those are the same and impossible for a 2 hit takedown with wristblades

there are a lot of weapons that can kill the pred is 8 seconds or less from a single fireteam member. I have also tested you can kill a hunter pred with 6 knife strikes I think from full health. without the hard hitter perk. I could be wrong but I could have sworn that was the case. You can also completely kill a pred and knock off his mask when he goes down and starts his self destruct with 6 or 8 headshots with knife right clicking. I did it today.

The pred takes 3-6 wristblade strikes to take down a fireteam member based on if they have perks that increase their health, reduce the dmg from the pred, and what class they are. So using his melee attack to justify this is not actually accurate. since the time it takes to get out that many melee swings if they all land is on average 3 or 4 seconds and that’s IF the FT member did not parry. in that 3 or 4 seconds the fire team can kill the pred. Very easily infact.

Thing is, FT health is not going to be at max most of the game. Between the NPC getting some shots in (more so when the predator is around) and the predator chipping at your health (if he is good) when he does engages, you go down in 2 hits(wristblades), happened to me countless times.
The grenades from the hammerhead are useless, you don’t have enough of them to put the predator down (yes, they are that bad). The rest, no clue but if the predator is stupid enough to sit in them… So just stick to bullets. 1 AR mag is going to down a predator usually assuming you get all the hits in and he is not far away. Then again this is complicated if he is abusing high ground, range and stealth. Really, really hard. More so with leap, its really disorientating.

@OutlawedMonkey I guess the grenades from hammerhead aren’t as great as we thought

The grenades from the hammered are instant aoe damage. Basically, you can’t miss. Also, they have a disorienting effect on the predator. They are almost like flash bangs, but less flash and more screen shake.

Yes they seem better suited for clearing out AI in my opinion.
