How many direct impact grenades does it take

…to take down the predator into second wind?
If there is no realistic answer: then Predator is OP doesn’t matter what class.

Logically: Because Most predators can take down 1 FT member in Two slices of wristblade action, the
logical answer is 3-4 direct hits of grenades.

If the actual answer is 9 hits: then you know Ilfonic, you need to rebalance shit or Get to the Exfil no questions asked.

This seems like something you would say rather then actually know if you know what I mean

Now that they’ve buffed the Hand Held Plasma Caster, they need to reinstate Impact Projectiles for the standard Grenade Launcher for balance.

Its been like that since DEFAULT SETTINGS no lvling up !!!

I think that if you were to check, you would know, ya know? Interestingly you may have been accidentally exploiting double hits for your entire play time. Neat.

Well its’ not me, its there other. SInce im FT main. How many slices does it take you as a Predator Main to slice a FT member? I mean direct Hits.

oh ok. its 4 swings on a scout from memory man. zerker may be able to kill a 125 hp FT in 3 hits with the melee perk. I 4get.

I’ve just faced a Scout (i don’t know what perks tho)…now perks can mean a lot I just don’t experience enough with Predators to know this for a fact. This we all need to figure out at least for the most part - predator’s perks/gears are completely secret from lobbies.

The majority of my facepalm games are SLICE SLICE–I’m down.

That spreadsheet has already been posted on the forums, it’s buried in the threads somewhere.

I heard of this spreadsheet…But why do we need this spread sheet? the logic here since we can change loadouts in lobbies is that we can change it to meet the mysterious dangers of the Predator.

To me when a predator can perk/gear to a SLICE SLICE- down, FT members are as weak as NPC!!! NPC!!!

I think if you find and consult the spreadsheet you could make different builds that guarantee AT LEAST 4 hits for each type of pred quite easily :) or just use thick skin on dutch, support or assault :)

The Predator isn’t OP. It’s the Grenade Launcher that needs a slight Impact buff.

While I wasn’t paying full attention when grinding in Private Matches (with my Sub Account as the Guest Predator) I noticed something interesting:

While stabbing a Predator Hunter to get his Health down, I counted 7 Left Trigger Knife Stabs to bring it to Second Wind. It took 8 Melee/Right Trigger Stabs.

But with the Hammerhead’s Grenade Launcher?? I was curious to see if a single Shot or so would knock off the Mask. While I only fired off a couple of rounds, each shot did slightly less Damage than a Right Trigger Stab. All of these observations were done with Impenetrable on the Predator and Yautja’s Bane on my Recon.

Yes, I gotta do some more testing. But it’s kinda crazy that an Impact Grenade does less Damage than a Melee Attack.

It’s about 3 full damage and 1 less than half the full grenade damage. Grenades are definitely part of the current meta. Recon and support players should always equip them.

Edit: My bad. I was talking about hand grenades.

Do grenades do friendly fire? or is it full damage? If FF then we need larger radius.

No friendly fire. But it’s easy to damage yourself.

The grenade from Dutch’s gun does about this much:

before and after shots of health bar (Scout Predator):

So I would say easily 10+ vs a Scout
