My guess here is that you poke yourself with the insulin and hop onto the forums to get a kick.
To that I applaud you as I know friends who have like 50 + games on pSN , and never play any of them and also are diabetic. howevr they completely exhuast all attempts on gaming forums for whatevr reason.

Don’t have diabetes, though the genetic type 1 runs in my family.
Do have an extremely rare autoimmune disorder caused by a KIT gene mutation oft classified as a form of Mastocytosis. Present from birth, however cannot be passed on through genes as it is only a somatic cell mutation instead of a germline mutation.
DNA editing could theoretically fix it, however due to the rarity and the fact that the lifespan is either extremely shortened or unaffected, it is not being researched despite the fact that it is a single gene mutation that only affects somatic cells, making it a prime candidate for gene research. Shame that it isn’t being studied for gene editing therapy, as it could be a good stepping stone for using genome editing to fix rare diseases.

Yep. Would probably have a mild allergy like the rest of my family, but due to the dangerous increase in mast cells my anaphylactic (allergic) response has been heightened to lethal levels.
