How many players are in the game?

I am fine with searching for 10 minutes on a predator (no, this is incredibly dumb because seconds are searched for on a FT game.) But … for some reason I’m sure that the average online game does not exceed 800 people.

Ok.

Its obviously cause of the matchmaking… I had lot of matches without pred in the lobby

I am getting a lot of matches today as Predator so yea theres still quite a few people playing it seems. If we are going by player numbers on https://gamstat.com/games/Predator_Hunting_Grounds/ shows there are 320,000 players with Predator Hunting grounds in their accounts (was 260,000 last time I checked) so new players are still coming to the game. This does however only show the Playstation numbers and not PC.

Thats still terrible numbers for a predator game can we also see numbers of those that refunded due to its balance and lack of content! Lol

No stats for refunds. I honestly dont think there is that many refunding the game probably quite a few waiting to see if next update changes anything before making a decision. Keep in mind that the game has sold over 320,000 copies as we do not have the PC numbers. 320,000 isnt that bad tbh not amazing but its not bad.

those numbers are quite impressive… i didnt even think the game had half of that.

Just go ask a math guy give them the parameters of game duration and other needed parameters and ask them to calculate the playerbase.

I would say the numbers are due to COVID-19 and everyone has just been getting the game because everyone is locked up at home. That and Predator is a fairly popular franchise. I think the numbers would be higher if the game cost less.

also it didnt receive alot of positive reviews very average or mediocre at best… and also considering everyone has flocked to CoD: Warzone cause its free to play… i’m impressed Pred HG exceeded even 100k

I think the math guy would still need to know number of servers/number of possible simultaneous matches. Average match length, and quitting before the end to get anywhere near accurate.

Really really rough math says that there are about 1.44 Predators per FT in queue. So roughly 69% of the players in queue are Predator and 31% FT. This is based on ~30 second FT vs ~3 minute Predator estimated queue times.

Those who are in as no preference would overlap this a bit, but I am not sure how to factor that in.

just need the approximate don’t need precice numbers.
this would atleast give approximate of players currently playing the game to determine if its a healty playerbase.

I wish Epic Laucher had something like Steam, where you can see the amount of players that are actually online at the moment…
