How to add more time to the game

-Remove game time completely (I just can’t remember a single game that run out of time). Either way game must complete
a.if the fireteam gets to the chopper
b. the fireteam kills the predator
c. All the fireteam members die

-Add dead time between objectives
Having 1 minute wait time until the next objective could mean at least 5 minutes extra time until mission completion. With this extra time:
a) Fireteam could heal, reload ammo, prepare mud up, hide , wait
b) Predator could heal, stalk and watch, set traps, attack or leave and eat boars or just kill AI

-Target isolation could start in cool down so that the predator must try a little harder to track the fireteam.
This can make the game feel less rushed

-Add 2-3 minute time at the start of each game where the predator can’t use his weapons. Force the predator to stalk his prey before he attacks like a predator must do

-There must not exist missions that can be completed at 5 minutes. NO WAY

Was on board for the first two points but the second two are very unfortunate.
First, the Target Isolation DOES start in cooldown as of last patch. You don’t start with it reasy to go. It fills over time before you can use it. This misconception could easily have been avoided by ever playing the predator even in a solo private match.
Second, disabling the Pred’s ability to attack for the first 2-3 mins of a match will serve no purpose beyond having the FT with their infinite use, next to no cooldown SPOT ability to quickly locate and takedown the Pred before it even has a chance to “hunt”.

Totally agree with you on the time bud. Out of every problem I have with this game, the time limit would have to be number one. I find them irrelevant and stupid, it completely ruins the chance or opportunities people have to play how they want to, bottlenecking them into a omg hurry I have to kill them or complete the objectives as quick as possible just so I can…join the queue again and wait an even longer period to do it all again.

Also…split the objectives across the entire map, not all of them in one location. This happens way too often.

You hasnt sense about game.

First: Target isolation DOES NOT start in cool down. You can actually use it 5 seconds from the start of the game and even before time starts to count. Cool down takes 1-1 1/2 minutes and it doesn’t fill but it empties over time. Please check it out better in private matches or quick game

Second: Yes adding spotting cool down would be even better and the fireteam not being able to use spot on predator for 2-3 minutes from the start would be great. Most games takes around 2-3 minutes for the fireteam and the predator to meet either way but there are a few games that the predator and the fireteam spawn very close and the predators rush and attack. Adding 2-3 minutes time for the predator to use weapons (at least for the fireteam) can prevent rushed out games. Think of it like in Friday the 13th where Jason couldn’t use all his abilities from the start of the game so that he could be immediately OP

Target isolation and ingame time and lack of missions/Ai has killed the game maybe shane black works for illfonic seems they know how to fuck a predator franchise.

I never use it but unless you’re able to activate before the bar starts filling up, 5 sec. or before timer starts is unlikely. At least on my copy of the game after last update. I think it’s full sometime around when Jason would get his second ability in F13. Soon in the match, yeah. 5 seconds or before timer starts? Record it. I don’t think it’s that fast for mine but I never use it much anyway so maybe I am wrong but I still think you two are exaggerating and there are WAY bigger issues than the least used button in the game.

Here I would like to say that it is not necessary to erase the game time, what is needed is to EXTEND it 15 minutes is too little to enjoy a good hunt, a good FT can give a lot of game to a predator and the same applies if you are a predator, you can give a lot of game to a FT and also it is more enjoyable.
Please add more time to the games because otherwise it is absurd, you cannot organize, you cannot plan or make less “direct” tactics
And many players will agree with me that it’s sad, this game has potential, it can be more fun.
No one wants to wait 10 minutes or 5 or 2 depending on your selection to enter a game and die in 1 minute, no one likes berserker+ combistick, result dies right away or a game that ends in less than 5 minutes because pred dies or TF dies and if you are playing at your own pace, slowly, organizing no one wants to feel pressure because time runs out…
The essence of the game, the essence of a predator and the essence of a hunter is patience and waiting for the moment, planning and executing the plan for an honorable, fun and above all rewarding hunt

Start a private game as a predator and check it out and you will see and yes when you start as a predator the time doesn’t start to count until 5 seconds pass (predator has a headstart) and you can use target isolation then.
The game has issues yes. Bigger or smaller it depends from the one who sees them. Feedback is to point all issues not only what is believed to be big.

If you ask me the long wait time is the top issue with this game

It doesn’t matter what is the total game time when a mission can be completed in 5 minutes. If the total time is 15 minutes or if it is 30 minutes the 5 minute completion time will remain the same so what’s the point of adding more time in total?
The mission time is the one that must be extended

Well it is one of the options although I think that if a predator knows how to pressure the FT team the mission becomes more complicated, but it is also true that this is impossible with the tools they have, very complicated.
In any case they should do something to extend the game time either through the mission or by adding time.

Target isolation DOES start with a cooldown, but just a partial cooldown.

5 seconds cooldown and before the start of game countdown… You can’t even call it cooldown. Cooldown is about 1 1/2 minutes after the use. You just can’t use target isolation for 5 seconds from the start witch is very little time.

I’m just pointing out that it indeed starts with a cooldown and can’t be used immediately. It’s about 10 seconds before you can use it. Although the Fireteam has no time to mud up before it’s used because of the difference in opening scenes. The Predator is already on the move before the Fireteam even gets started.

It took me 5-8 seconds to use target isolation without the game time to start counting and full cooldown took me almost 1 1/2 minutes. Indeed it says cooldown but actually it is not because the game doesn’t even start. When the game starts you can use it immediately so we actually say the same thing

Fair enough. Unlike most people here I will readily admit when I mistaken. I just knew that it started in a psuedo-cool down and it seemed like it took a lot longer than 5 sec. to charge (this is likely due to my own faulty temporal judgment issues, lol). I almost never use the damn thing to give it that much deeper thought and I completely did not notice the timer not starting. I’m always rushing around because the match times are too short to be a proper predator. So uh yeah, sorry for being rude I didn’t notice the start timer and it FEELS way way longer than 5-8 sec to me. I still will argue that the isolation isn’t all that game breaking and doesn’t win games for you contrary to what the one really butthurt guy seems to think. The pred making far too much noise (Clicking and footsteps are absurd right now IMO) while Cloaked and suposedly trying to be Stealthy, plus still being able to be caught with Spot ability by FT when their mud blocks almost all of the Preds visual tracking methods? That is a way way bigger unbalance in my opinion. If simple mud can block everything so should the Cloak and the dumb ass clicking noises while stealthed need to go. Do it when I’m uncloaked or make it a voice-wheel option, please.

P.S. I play both sides and don’t want the game to be a total curb stomp for either side. I just want consistency and functioning stealth, lmao.

Fair enough!
In the end we are just having a conversation.
I agree with you for the rest you said and for me the game feels rushed because the fireteam rush to complete the objectives and the predator rush to stop them

Hahahahaha this comment is priceless…
Despite finding “The Predator” somewhat of entertainment, for sure a big franchise’s disappointment.

Perhaps what would be better is if Target Isolation only worked if the fireteam was sprinting or firing weapons. (Mudded up or not). Or if sprinting got rid of mud way quicker. This would stop the rush builds that mud up and run around with the knife just getting the objectives done.
