When you start a match of clash or hunt there will be an option that says no preference. Click it until it says predator. This only works for hunt though. For clash it’s 100 points then a random player is chosen and you can either pass it or accept it by pressing right on the dpad (not sure what it is for PC) to become a predator.

knowing every mission as fireteam for anticipate move from the FT as predator, knowing the location of every possible respawn point, destroy every medkit and ammo crates. bbeing good with the bow and plasma caster, never go fully on melee against ft full HP and most important, not playing with net gun.
