The first thing you want to do is at the start hold up your thermal and wait for the scan. Then as the scan comes up you do it as soon as possible, watch for directions they are heading in. As soon as finding the team you need to deal damage from far away, the best way to do this is to use the bow, plasma caster, plasma pistol. It’s always good to carry a melee weapon as the wrist blades don’t do too much, I suggest the combi stick or the alpha sickle. Wasting heals is important, that’s why you need a good build to do so if you need a good build go visit my other pages they might help. Then after wasting as much of their heals as possible you want a quick and easy knock. I say going after the recon or scout is the best way. Going for the heavy hitter last is a must as they do deal the most damage. Also clearing the faster people first is good as they can’t enforce if they don’t have any runners. Toward the middle, you should be doing as much damage as possible and going for a knock. Only finish if you have to if you’re in a bad spot and need somebody off their team to take the finish when possible. Now going in the endgame you want to force your knocks and to get greedy, always be annoying don’t give them room to breathe. You want that work for nothing so try and make it as hard as possible for them. Taking bare traps is good if you struggle with good teams, you can trap up the helipad so they get trapped and have the timer hit zero. Also never give mercy unless they crouch spam. Have fun and share other strat’s to help people out, good hunting predators.

I like to speed my way to the center of the map and by the time I get there isolation scan is ready and chances are you already found them and didn’t have to waste the scan.

I’m not sure about this. The predator has multiple spawn points for the same particular spawn point of the fireteam. I don’t think it’s a bad idea to pop target isolation right away, especially if you’re newer.
Melee locks on.
The combistick is basically free damage. The lock on radius is huge, and the throw is a good counter to parry attempts. The Sword and Sickle are stronger, if you get close enough and aren’t dealing with really fast, dodgy players.
If they’re shooting the traps, there not shooting you. Sometimes, the sound can be missed in loud and messy final engagements at the chopper.

yeah i do this too except for excavation since excavations spawns seem to be pretty preditable
