The problem is that we can’t have all we need at once :) As a Scout you can have motion detector OR medpack…

As Scout use your movement to your advantage. I’m on PC and exclusively use the 7en. I have decent aim. You know what messes up my decent aim?
A Predator that’s sporadic in their movement and not predictable.
Don’t just hop from tree to tree along the straight path - us PC players are able to shoot Predator’s mid-air quite casually.
Use the environment to your advantage.
Leap over the sniper and sprint around
Keep them guessing.
You are the hunter, not the prey.

Ye, ye, ye, it theory it’s all good. But in real world even if you jump and run around like crazy you get 1-2-3 shots and it’s gg. Predator can’t attack while running - so you have to make a decision. To survive (running like a squirrel with burning tail), or to try to kill somebody. For sure, I’m not talking about noob teams who can’t even cover teammate when he’s trying to use mud.

Running around the FT like a chicken with it’s head cut off isn’t going to get you anywhere
Positioning is really important.
I’ve seen FT’s fall to shit by a Predator that baited them with his movement into traps he’d set up prior - and another time where the Predator would run through an area with a roof when the 3 of the FT were tailing, only to watch him leap back over the roof, landing a couple of nets and slashing his way through with his combistick.
You’re playing as a hunter that stalks and kills dangerous lifeforms that provide them with a challenge. Predator’s claim trophies literally as a sport.
So have fun while you’re doing this, get a little creative!
Yea im not a trapper i use audio decoys to stop the incessant rush that allways acompanys this fire team and position to the best of my ability it just doesnt work when they can see you invisible and your only ling range tools give away your location the fireteam hold pretty much all the cards.
Ye, when (if) they change the balance a little (like no more than 1 parry, no reinforcements, no endless ammo/medpacks, no terrible noise from changing vision mods, better cloak etc) we could talk about “being creative” as a Fireteam too, I hope :) We’ll talk about “you’re not a squad of Marvel superheroes, your goal is not to kill the Predator, but to survive and complete your mission!” Dreams, sweet dreams… :)
Add that a Pred is terrible in long-range duels. Even if you find a nice spot between leaves, there will always be a damned branch that will work as a shield for the Fireteam :) While humans can keep firing with superhuman accuracy (headshots from shotgun in 20 meters? Easy!), you’re jumping away, trying to find another good position and praying there’ll be some more tasks for Fireteam that make them stay at one point for a while, not hopping around like they do all the other time.

Yes it’s a little finicky when it collides with branches/leaves/whatever.
But if you find space, charge and open fire . . .
And another example of getting creative: combo plasma caster shots with your claws.

I have a question, might be a good one or not, but… how can a Predator, that is always moving around, get circled and sniped? If this thing happened to me, I would’ve step back a bit, wait for things to cool off, and then make my way back as silent as possible and try to take one out with gadgets. Otherwise attacking at the chopper is another good idea if they are using sniper rifles. And how can they see you first ,and not the other way around? I got ambush a crap ton of times and lost because we didn’t know where the Predator was at, I only knew that I or someone from my team was down or killed.
And if I see the Predator making a mistake, I punish him, that’s the idea. Like standing on branches without cloaking. If I see it, I shoot it.

Man, when we’re talking about Predator’s strong sides, we always mention something like “if”. If you find space, if there’ll be no branches on the way of your plasma, if Fireteam separates, if they won’t hear/see you etc. But we almost have no “ifs” when it goes to the Fireteam itself. You know, it’s like a street fight when 1 person is weighting about 250 pounds and another just 155. The little guy still can win it theory, if his opponent is drunk as hell, if he absolutely doesn’t know how to fight, if the little guy would be able to kick him to his balls or his eyes. Same here. Predators surely CAN win, but the situation right now is SOO far from fair play.

Yeah.
We’re all waiting for patches to happen - I wrote “if” because yes: there are precautions that need to be taken with the plasma caster and the shitty collision rn. But it ain’t impossible, far from it.
If you really can’t deal with the caster, use the bow, a totally viable second option. See:
