Is it better to parry while holding the gun so u just wait for the parry prompt or is better to get the knife out myself then parry? I’m struggle to fend of predator. When the predator is parried he pushed back a bit I don’t know think it’s enough time to go up to predator and use knife? Im not sure man
How to fend of predator
I find it a lot easier to just take out the knife and click to parry instead of the quick bind with the gun. When pred gets parried you can get a quick stab in sometimes. Parrying is mostly so other FT members can help shoot the Predator off you.

Best is with gun out so you can shoot them in-between parries. Easiest is with knife out. If you’re really bad can just spam heavy attack with knife out.

I definitely feel like I have more knife control if I’ve actively selected the knife. Sometimes the quick swap / melee controls are fickle for me on PC.

Pretty sure it’s easier to parry when the knife’s out however you lose out on a chance to blast the pred in the face with a shotgun.

Yeah, honestly in any situation I’d prefer some distance between the Predator and I. Plus, if a Predator makes a poor call and tries to melee a FT when the others are around they can get mowed down quick if everyone unloads.

Stay Grouped and pull out your knife if they try to melee spam.
Anyone notice that the “stun” that was once there after parrying the predator seems all but gone?
I still notice it and I just played as predator it’s pretty annoying.
Well my dream would be able to parry with the gun out cause scout class perk is strong secondary gun dmg so I’ll need to get better, with the other classes I should have the knife out early
Pull out the knife cause you can slash between parries which is way more dMage than your gun will do

Parry, circle and strafe. Since the Predator lunges with each attack you can often confuse them by circling around them, not always though, and moving side to side or around them. You may even get a few free stabs off sometimes or buy yourself time to pop a stim. It doesn’t always work but I have had reasonable success in doing so even to the extent that I was able to fend off a Berserker, who was doing fairly well through the match, until he downed me and they gave my partner enough time to down and kill him. It’s not the perfect solution but if all you primarily concerned about just stalling then it’s not a bad way to go. With gun or knife, each has advantages and disadvantages but as long as you have that strategy it should help.

Have the knife out and run behind him, when he swings again parry again. You can do that all you want and he can’t stop you, cause humans are broken in this game, I would know I am one.
Upgrade the vector sub with extended mag. Unload a clip when the pred is close by… no more pred.
If like to have a private match with u to practice that I don’t even know how to strife
Advance stuff man, u lot must be pc or cod players
Strafing is just kinda moving side to side. If you are on console I could give some small example of it or share a brief clip if not.
