How to invite cross party member

Im On PS4, ive linked my EPIC to my Psn and vice versa for pc player. I still cant see him on my friends list in game. Can anyone help?

I don’t think you’ll need to link anything. Epic Games store will by next friday when Patch 2.0 hits, allow you to search for PSN IDs that play PHG, i believe.
It will probably work the other way around. From the PSN to search for Epic IDs that are playing PHG.

Here’s the logic: If you’re playing PHG on a PC (using the Epic Games Store) you shouldn’t need a playstation account or PS4 AT ALL in order to play with friends on Playstation.
Its just common sense.
We will find out what Patch 2.0 has in store as they said that it is happening. The process should not be very complicated IMHO.

and if you’re worried about your friends list on PSN, then you’re probably better off manually searching for their IDs in the Epic Games Store when Illfonic releases the patch update.

I think you have to wait till the patch on Friday.

I don’t think you can search friends list till we actually have cross play invites.

The likelihood is that the friends menu in game will show players online based on an epic ID only.

Ps4 to ps4 invites will be handled through the existing playstation framework, but im pretty sure that you will prompted to create an epic ID if you haven’t made one previously for fortnite, for the purpose of crossplay so PC players can then interact with friends on PS4.

Its the most common sense approach in my mind and its how a lot of crossplay games like fortnite and minecraft work.
