How to punish ragequiters/leavers

everyone saying the same
make them unable to find games.good method? nop its freaking trash
they will just change game for 30 minutes which is really not a proper punish

instead

make them receive near close to none xp/cash (cash for full level players) for 2-3 games

No disrespect, but XP means nothing to me neither does VT. I’m at level 150 and have over 100,000 VT as are the majority of regular FT players.

Sometimes there’s a legit reason to quit early. Sometimes you’re with a team of assholes and just want to leave. Sometimes you’re sick of exploits being abused and want out. Not all early leavers are rage quitting because they’re salty. I’m just saying. And what about disconnects which are more regular since the latest patch?

I think the actual option to leave should be unavailable while Ft player is downed and especially during claims, which is where most rage quitters leave to punish the Predator player.

I agree that it needs attention, but the suggested punishment here and in the most recent thread about the same topic aren’t really solutions.

Tbh only games that have punishment in them usually have ranked mode… so eh… right now if u leave u dont get anything which is fine… But if they add ranked… i think the punishment should be 5 min cooldown but i dont really want ranked lol… just a smooth gameplay

Trying to justify leaving is just another sign of a poor sport. Flat out hitting the leave match and disconnect are major differences.

If I die and there are no reinforcements I also leave since there’s no point in waiting. So you see, they need to also add something about this. I have no impact over my team if I leave when there are no reinforcements left.

I gave examples, as others have also. In this and the multiple topics about this topic which has been debated to death at this point.

I feel the best way to do this is, if someone leaves the Predator gets claims for them, because a lot of topped out FT players aren’t going to care about any of these consequences, so just giving the predator what they earned would suffice

Rather than all this “omg punish everyone!! MAKE THEM PAY!” rants.

Why don’t we look at methods of rewarding those players that choose to stay?
