I don’t know if this was suppose to be the goal, but once I unlocked the 2nd and 3rd Sniper rifle and coupled that with the Recon class (and Yautja’s Bane), hunting the Predator becomes more fun and effective than hunting as the Predator itself. I’ve been running with this loadout all morning. My fireteam will work to clear objectives while I sit outside the perimeter and watch the trees and cliffs. As soon as I spot the predator, who’s looking over the objective, it’s super easy to line up two or three headshots to destroy his mask.
It’s so easy to spot him in the trees, even easier at greater distances, because he sticks out like a sore thumb especially with his cloak activated (almost useless unless standing still). Branches swing like crazy as he/she jumps limb from limb, giving away its location. It’s way easier to hunt from a distance as a Sniper than it is as the predator (Bow has weak range), and because every predator class (Berserker included) can get melted by a 3-person fire team in close proximity (very few fireteams at this point split up), it just seems like the Predator is weak in every style of combat. Just my opinion. Would love to hear what everyone else thinks.
