Title says it all, for some reason, I am unable to select 1920x1080 as a resolution when checking fullscreen mode. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, verified the game, etc. but still, it will not let me play at the desired resolution.
I cannot seem to play in 1920x1080 fullscreen

Change them if needed and save the file
You my friend are a life saver!
Hmm, it didn’t seem to work, it just keeps reverting the file back to what it was before. I’ll try and Save as… instead of save
HM thats strange. try running epic games as administrator or something like that
I do, everytime
ahh that may be why, try not running it as admin :)
yeah run it not as admin then change settings in game see if they hold.
Okay, I’ll try, thanks again for at least TRYING to help me, I honestly appreciate it!
No dice, the thing that happened was I had my computer plugged in through hdmi with a TV that had the resolution 11something by 7something, and it looked awful, so I plugged it into my monitor using a dvi cable, and it will show 1080p if I use window fullscreen, but on fullscreen setting it will only go up to 720p, so I plugged my monitor into my computer using a hdmi cable, and still no dice.
hm thats strange sorry i dont know what it could be
It’s almost as if the resolution from the TV I played on is hard saved to the settings, the only thing I can think of is to delete EGS and re-install all of my games… GOD HELP ME!
try to delete the old monitor/tv from device manager (show hidden and disconneted devices)
may just show as generic monitor etc
then reboot the PC
I’ve completely moved it to another room and monitor, I don’t think that’s why but I’ll try.
Ok, so here’s how you fix it.
Delete your config file, delete your spacefish folder, uninstall epic games launcher, reinstall epic games launcher from the website.
*I personally didn’t have to re-download the game, and when I booted it up, I was able to choose fullscreen 1920x1080 when I did. Hope this helps anyone else with the very specific problem.
