I don't get it...

So I queue for FT because I’m not in the mood for 10 minute queues right now. Land a lobby with 3 FT and pred. 1 FT leaves…lobby does the whole countdown and starts the game. 2 FT, 1 Predator.

3 minutes in and it’s game over from a zerker rush…like really? You waited in queue at least 10 minutes, another 2 in the lobby, almost a fully 15 minute wait, just to rush and kill 2 people nice enough to not leave the lobby?

AND THEN ROAR LIKE YOU WON A TOUGH MATCH ON TOP? What sense does this make?!

What since does it make to think you would win a 2v1?

The sense that everyone’s different and play different too.

I had no intention of winning, i did however expect a little more than 3 minutes of game play. Why would you sit in the lobby that long?

Maybe he just wanted to taste blood and get back to waiting for a full team of 4

I sort of have a set of hunting rules:

• 4x FT (Randoms) = Anything goes, but I will try and toy around with them and perhaps let them reinforce.

• 4x FT (Premade Team) = No concessions - will do my best to wipe them out as quickly as possible.

• 3x FT = Will try and toy around with them and likely let them reinforce.

• 2x FT = Will toy around with them and let them reinforce.

• 1x FT = Will not hunt them, and help to take out AI to give them a chance to evac.

Only had a ‘1x FT’ situation once, and even though I was doing my best to wipe out the FT with him, he managed to get himself downed by the AI, so I just ended up standing over him watching him bleed to death.

Then it would have been quicker to just leave the lobby in matchmaking.

I mean I’m kinda similar but I get different strokes for different strokes. I don’t get mad either, there’s no real etiquette to follow, it’s a game you play how you want and have fun how you have fun but Jesus, it literally made no sense. Sat there and watched the lobby counter go allllllll the way down to finish the match in 3 minutes? And it only took that long cuz I was partying. I just can’t wrap my head around anyone finding that fun

Yeah, in the early days I’d try and wipe teams out as soon as possible regardless of their strength, but it was ultimately unsatisfying. Also it was not a great way to generate XP, and as I’ve been working my way up to getting the Elder (almost there!) I’ve been more conscious of playing the long game and stalking/toying more (plus it’s much more satisfying gameplay wise). That said, some teams don’t give you any choice but to go after them quick as they speed through the objectives.

Can’t really say it’s dumb cause everybody play how they want. I usually just leave if it’s only two ppl. And XP doesn’t matter to most of since we are 150

That’s a rather bold assumption that the majority of people playing the game have had the time and perks to be 150.

I didn’t say it was dumb. I just can’t understand how someone would want to do that. Like you said just leave the lobby.
