I agree that Scarface used to like to be the best FT member around, but that’s been a very inaccurate description of Scarface for at least a few months, he just fucks around and has fun and chit-chats. You should try playing with him again if you haven’t played with him in a while, he’s chill as hell now.
Don’t know if anyone mentioned this to you already but you can shoot them with the caster from underneath. The blast will go through the roof and they will have to reconsider the whole roof thing 🙂
For the first six months I played only as a predator, and I thought exactly the same as you.
I spent my time complaining that the game was unbalanced and getting pissed off with deathsquad pc.
Then I got tired, and I wrote in the forums asking if I could join a pc gamers discord channel, because I did not know anyone to play with.
I remember that the most willing to introduce me to the FT gameplay was Scarface.
We are now a group of friends who play regularly every night, some can consider us sweaty, and we certainly are 90% of the time. But show me someone who plays the game at a certain level and isn’t.
The primary goal is to beat top tier pred in pubs. Why don’t we play private games? We do this sometimes but some of us prefer public games, perhaps as a matter of balancing between difficult and more relaxing games.
Regarding the loadouts, in addition to what I have already told you, we experiment with various combinations, and we train ourselves to use them.
Playing against fairly experienced opponents, as it seems to me to be your case, is the best situation to train.
So either we stick with the loadouts of the matches we do competitively, or we train specifically. Many times however it happens to use funny loadouts like the grenade launcher etc.

I consider myself as adequeate to good at most when going against randoms, but nowhere close to good when playing against you guys (unless you consider as good simply surviving the encounter as the predator when playing against premades lol)
Having played so many times with you guys I am sure you know what my level is.
You know I am no threat to you.
Thats why I found the excessive use of PDLs and perks and the “in your face attitude” of camping on a roof in plain sight on other occasions, as if saying “here we are and we know you are no match for us” as not necessary to players that have never disrespected your team.
So potatoes being toxic is ok, but good players being toxic is frowned upon…hmmm got ya 👍🏽

Regardind the skill: I personally consider a good predator someone who doesn’t die in the first 2 minutes, who shows some gameplay experience, who manages to do some damage and maybe claim one or more FT, who uses many tools, etc.
