That being said, you can truly notice those who play the game and try to give the opposing team an entertaining match, and those who are willing to win at any cost as fast as humanly possible. (Again is only a personal achievement that doesn’t truly hold much weight, outside of personal pride).

Yeah, I recently started playing again, and on a match on HQ I beat the last guy (Dutch 87 IIRC) in a good old wristblade vs knife fight. He got on the mic afterwards, said GGs and thanked me for feeling like a true predator and having the knife fight at the end, as not many people do that nowadays.

When I hunt, it’s not to show off/test skills, its to have fun for both sides. For me, to toy with and knife fight the last guy, for the FT to have as much of an authentic predator experience that this game can provide.

They do this all the time - you wanna know a little secret? When I find these guys in pubs, but with randoms and not together, I take them out no bother - does not matter if its Mojo, Psycho, Vargaresa or Riktig. Sure, they are bit more challenging, quz they are really good, but I honestly can’t remember when was the last time I faced them separated from each other with randoms and lost a game(perhaps there was one or two games, but I just can’t remember guys ;-)). Now, when these guys are together, even the best preds in game will have a ride for their money, average preds like me don’t stand a chance. Why? because those players are extremely well organised and are working TOGHETER as a fucking TEAM. They have their loadouts selected not for show, but to supplement each other. When they move through hunting grounds they are coordinated - no one wonders off in direction he likes. They work as a unit. Now please explain to me, why the hell are you saying its not fair that a team works as a team? Isn’t it the whole purpose of FT gameplay?

Cause I ve seen cases where a FT member is shooting a predator from the back and the game registers hits on the bio mask.

When you know your team has the best snipers in the game it doesnt feel fair dont you think?
I mean sure, I tried shooting them with the plasma cannon from a distance.
They move all the time, so its really hard, but sure, I could have kept doing that until the timer run out, but… fuck that.
I dont want to play like that.
They know that the only way for the Predator to take out a FT member is to catch them separated from the team.
Otherwise its 3 seconds and you re on second wind/ dead.
Is it even challenging for them? No!

Its a casual game balanced around half the FT staring at the ground not shooting the pred because pubs.

When the bar is leveraged like that FT has a much lower skillfloor than pred as they’re given silly high DPS to make random matches winnable because the solo player is really only meant to capitalize off of a team of 4 making mistakes. Once they stop making mistakes, the game is going to fall apart at a competitive level and the team of 4 becomes the power role.

Same issue every 4v1 game has no point in beating yourself up about it just dont bother sweating over asyims because they all eventually become ganking simulators.

Camping on rooftops isn’t probably much of an issue, if anything it can make them easy prey (under normal circumstances), but I completely agree with what can happen when combined with broken spotting builds, and on PC it can be much worse since you can get the usual tryhard playing on the lowest graphical settings, therefore removing a lot of vegetation and how pronounced certain special effects look (both environmental and full screen passes).

What is available with just the games mechanics is broken, but I’ve bumped into some examples of spotting that went beyond what I think these builds can accomplish, so there may be hacks at play on some cases.

Either way, in these situations it’s probably best just to leave, there is no fun to be had anyways.
