Here’s my idea for a plasma caster nerf: so basically set a a system that detects if someone is spamming the plasma caster and if it is detected that you are spamming it you get a nerf to plasma caster damage until you get a melee down/kill on a fireteam member
I genuinely hate people who spam the plasma caster
Not even trying to be an asshole, but if you’re complaining about Plasma its simply a skill issue.
You can hear exactly where the Predator is charging from, you can see the red laser from many metres away, and “spamming” Plasma as you put it which I can only assume means you’re talking about quick uncharged shots, literally isn’t even effective because they have nonexistent splash damage radius or damage output unless you’re hitting direct shots.
Its very simple to counter, just shoot the Predator.

If you jump when they fire their plasma caster shot, it barely does any damage to you. Fire at the predator’s face for 1 second, and then jump to the side. Rinse, and repeat. They will keep doubling down, wondering why you aren’t dead yet, and you will be able to get them to 20% HP.
Guess you lost 5 bucks
Kind of hard to shoot him when the predator is like 5 buildings away and in the trees and same with the audio also hard to hear them when they are in the trees and constantly shooting the plasma
Just track where you see the giant red laser beam coming from, or where the shots are from.
Yeah I hate when the ft just spams bullets at me, it’s so annoying and lame

If they’re that far away, ignore them. Preds that rely solely on using the caster are boring and I dont see them as a threat half the time and I’ll push mission.
