It’s so annoying when I’m trying to jump around the fireteam or try to claim someone and I’m suddenly climbing a stupid tree. Illfonic needs to change the buttons for jumping and mounting trees. At least change it so that we have to hold x if we want to climb a tree and tap x for regular jumping.
It’s really irritating and this problem almost cost me a match.

Yeah, the trees are still kinda annoying.
That match we had earlier when I was samurai I was flying all over the map trying to climb a tree but never actually could. At one point I tried to reload the HHPC and I walked off on to mid air while rising then teleported back.
I’ve got my tree hug button on its own separate button, so I can jump without worrying about hugging the trees
simultanious button inputs for tree mounting would be bomb, like L1 and X at the same time

“Jump/branch switch” mapped to “up” on the directional pad. “Cross” button is only “jump” only
