i’ve been playing the whole day as predator and fire team, without the bonus experience i reached level 43, and i don’t feel good, i even feel a part of me really sad about the currently state of the game. this morning i made a post in reddit talking about how i won all my matches as predator, and i did, but it wasn’t a confortable experience, the most level i get the the stronger the fire team become, and then i figure out two facts, ** 1. most of the weapons of the predator are useless **, 2. ** there is nothing to do against a cordinated fireteam ** that decides to ignore the mission and wait for the predator to attack so they can take the shit out of him.
the saddes part , what really makes me feel sad is the fact that weapons of the predator are basicaly useless , the elder sword needs 5 to 6 hits to kill someone , somene who is running or parrying your attacks while the rest of the team get close, war club needs 4 hits and is sooooo slowly with the same problem of the running person , plasma caster and bow have one big problem , by the time you’re actually able to take it out and aim the fire team already takes down half of your health, the smart disc works with a lot of lag , and even if you manage to hit someone the only thing that he needs to do is to use the Healing Kit and that’s it, your efforts doesn’t worths because the magically won all the health again , that’s one more of the bigs problems of the game , the fire team have 3 health kits each one , plus 3 aid bags , plus medic kits on the buildings , that a total of 24 health kits for fire team , predator have a maximum of 3 health kits plus boars that never apear and you have to lost 5 minutes looking for one , how i’m supose to kill or hostigate an inmortal team ? what is the objective in hitting with the plasma caster or the smart disc if they’re gonna spot my position , take the shit out of me and heal themselves with their infinites health kits ?
last big problem is that the game works against the predator , there is no punishment for the fire team if they just decided to totally ignore the mission and wait for the predator (which is really usual at high levels , they just sit and wait to hear predators sounds so they can spot him easily and defeat him in a war of attrition , because they have fucking +24 health kits) , AI is making and insane quantity of damage to the predator , actually a lot more than to the fire team, what’s the logic behind that?? the fire team have 24+ health kits , predator only have 3 !
i love hard experiences , i love dark souls , i loved evolved and i really want to love this game , but this is not a hard experience , this is just a matter of luck experience mixed with weapons that doesn’t work properly
