I get that all the predator vets want the pred to feel like the movie and weed whack everything, But for gameplays sake the combistick is busted and all the other melees are underpowered. That’s literally all i have to say. I know running berserker and combi makes you feel like the pred from the movies but its not good for the player-base at all and needs to be addressed.
I will take my thumbs down, and boos now.
What is busted about it?
Hint: while the pred is swinging 6 times to down you, hit the button for “parry”, call in your buddies to shoot him while he is stunned and out of stamina, and press the key for melee attack.
What button is parry on pc?
any of them you want, check your keybinds.
What @calqulon said, it’s also easier if you pull your knife out when the Predator is coming to melee you, that way you just need to click your primary fire. Helps with the timing.

Uhm, it takes 5-6 swings with claws or 4-6 swings with a combi to down someone… Whats so op about it?
Also it can be parried if Pred is retarded and rushes in with melee without a surprise element.
Somewhere along the lines of the fact that it has quite a large range so its hard to miss, has above average damage and that 6 hits only applies to a support with the health perk. Also is devastating if caught in a building. That and not everyone has a full squad of teammates who are always down to play, i usually have 1 other maybe 2 and 3 rarely. But the point of the matter is the speed of its hits makes downing a person a 3 second job and the speed makes parrying considerably harder. The other melees just don’t compare. The clubs tracking is off and misses after the first hit and the blades range is too short. Lastly the disk as a melee is no better than the gauntlet far as range and dmg.
Don’t remember bitching, just remember stating my opinion without being aggressive or one sided. Mind you.
Its really just the range, if it wasn’t far above the other melees and the easiest option it wouldn’t be the choice for 90% of players who are high enough lvl to have it. If no other weapon is being used, thats saying something about it and the others believe it or not.

dont mud yourself - let him focus u - parry all of his attacks (he is stunned after parry) - he is nearly instant dead - nextgame
Only thing that needs to be nerfed is big health supplies of the fireteam… and knife damage needs to be lowered + parry needs to take out stamina… I’ve already killed at least 20 times berserker just with knife against combistick or wrist blade… just 1v1 without any help from fireteam…
Support class + perks = 190 health for one fire team member and 6 swings with knife to kill predator = gg

Ok so i woke up this morning searching for a video of the method you explained and cant find one, you wouldn’t happen to have one in memory would you? Because I’ve tried and it seems like bluff, parryed a combstick zerker 3 times in 2 different gmes but doesn’t seem to make much difference.
Actually it only makes people feel like Predators from AvP. The Predators in the mainline films were strictly pretty weak to gunfire and blades. Its ironically more lore friendly to have the Predator take a lot of damage from guns, but it doesn’t make for the greatest game balance.
