I hope they don't copy DBD

I know these are the guys who worked on F13. Friday the 13th. And their main competitor DBD were different in a lot of ways. So when I got the game. I thought there would be more differences than similarities. In the way characters move physics wise. I didn’t know it was gonna be that 1 vs 4 type game play. Also in Friday. The physics of when a councilor moved, was more real than DBD. There was no turning on a dime, unnatural movement of survivors etc. I hope they don’t model this game off DBD too much.

Man if the FT had the movements and physics of like a Insurgency Sandstorm or Squad it would make playing the FT way more rewarding. Right now its just Naruto sprint through a dense jungle brush completely ignoring the muddy terrain. I just want a hardcore mode with no hit indicators or ridiculous stamina regen.

The game is clearly not modeled after DBD. Nearly every gameplay aspect is different. You do not have anything to worry about.

The way FT moves around so sharp and with no weight mechanics. Turning on a dime. Almost infinite stamina. etc. And it being 4 vs 1. Those are big things in common.

DBD will likely outlive hunting grounds lol

Stamina is not infinite for either side. Turn rate can not be a direct influence from DbD many games have good turning. Why would this game need a weight mechanic? Certain classes move faster than others and the slower ones tend to be able to carry more gear. Is this the kind of mechanic you wanted? because that is in the game.

The only real similarity is that they are both 4 v 1 games.

I keep thinking DBD is DragonBall Something.
