Before the latest patch, I had a shader for the Gutter knife unlocked, which also gave me access to the knife itself. After the newest patch released, I go to my FT loadout to fix it after the game messed it up for the hundredth time, and I see that the Gutter knife was locked again. Why? It’s already hard enough to get an exotic. Why not let us keep it if we were lucky enough to pull the Gutter from a field locker? It seems messed up to me to remove and relock something that you got lucky enough to pull in a loot box because it’s now available through leveling up.

So I’m just supposed to let the game take back my item? How would you like it if you could level up to unlock the mythical trophies but Illfonic also decided to take them away from everyone? All that veritanium you spent on thousands of field lockers for that trophy? Wasted.

So all of your field lockers come from leveling up?
That makes sense. I kinda wish Illfonic would’ve given us a heads up that the knives were now rewards from leveling up and that you’ll have to unlock it again if you already had it. It just took me by surprise.
Yeah I only have 1 mythical knife and a few exotic knives and 1 trophy… apparently Im quite lucky but I want all the mythical pred trophies so I’m just stockpiling.

Yeah that was annoying, but if you were lucky enough to not lose your loadouts after the patch, and you didn’t change anything on them, you could still use it, just couldn’t look at it.
