I think I’ve found out what this “pointless, inaccurate and in general useless” device is for… Today I was running a scout with the wrist launcher. Accidentally managed to hit assault FT with it, obviously just pissed him off… so I’ve panicked and went in with wristblades… two hits and he was down. I thought “now that’s fucking strange, considering all the nerfing that recently happened… maybe he was already low on hp?” so I decided to test this out a bit. Results from 3 games - as long as you will hit FT with the wrist launcher you can insta down them with melee. Works for me atleast. Can someone confirm this? Intended or a bug? If intended - thanks Illfonic! If a bug - for Christ sakes Illfonic LEAVE IT ALONE!!!

Ok, this shit is preete consistant, I’m downing ppl like theres no tommorow. Takes 3 strikes with wristblades at the most, usually 2 or 1 if FT was already low on HP. Only problem is aming that thing… on distance its useless quz it flies like a bee…

Wrist launcher into blades is great
It’s also good for FT that are juicy and bloody to finish them off

idk… “crowd control”… just fits perfectly for what I do when thers more than 2 FT in one spot and I just so happen to have a net launcher on me XDDDDDD

Yea I personally think it’s trash but damage wise it can be a useful tool I mean if you hit that then wristblades it should be affective but I wouldn’t rely on it because now with thick skin a player can tank 2 combi throws and wristblades
Isn’t a body shot from the combi throw 115 damage? That would be 230 damage from two hits, and I don’t think anybody gets that kind of health from thick skin.

It was shadow nerfed with out downrange it does 93
Head shots do 107
With downrange normal shots do 100

Unrelated but did you crash recently on a match on overgrowth?
Yes. Twice. I put messages in the bug section. I’m going to redownload the game. I’m very upset. The wait is too long to have these freezing issues.
I don’t know that redownloading will help, but I have to try something.
It’s happening to everyone on PS4, I was in that match where you crashed and the next 2 matches after that the predators also crashed. This shit is aggravating af.
