If they weren’t being greedy and abusing the fact this IP has so many die hard fans, the new content, masks and war paints, would have been there own bundle. BUT. They KNEW people would not be able to resist. So they packaged them with OLD content to give the bundle enough items to justify the 20 dollar price point. There was NOTHING stopping them from selling these items for 5 or 6 bucks as there own bundle. They KNEW you’d want to buy them but didn’t have the balls to ask for 20 dollars for 3 masks. So they threw in old stuff with the excuse of, “we’ll just say it’s enough content to ask for 20 bucks from someone who’s never had the old dlc” full well knowing they were trying to sell this to everyone. They TRICKED YOU. Absolutely NOTHING stopped them from selling it separately. Keep throwing them money and they will keep drip feeding.

If we stood up for ourselves and didint buy Arnold TWICE(full disclosure I also did this one so shame on me)
If we didint just hype and buy every stupid cosplay predator just for the sake of doing it,
If we didint buy MARSHAWN LYNCH
They would have given us Mr. Black, not just his mask… and a new weapon or two with this update. Promise. We would have gotten better content. Instead we get drip fed because we have 0 self control

Or the game’s not making revenue so they just say fuck it? What’s likely, you support the game and get more stuff or you don’t support the game and they magically pull the stuff you wanted out of their ass with the money they aren’t getting?

They can’t turn their internal roadmap around even if the things on the roadmap aren’t what you want when you want.

It’s the only pred game we’ve gotten in 10 years.

Ima support it cause I don’t want to wait another 10…

Also, even if they gave us said characters or people we want, in the games state, pretty sure it wouldn’t necessarily prolong the life of the game. People would still be mad.

Best they give us stuff peppered in while they work to get the foundation down and then smack us with the content we have all anticipated. (Imo)

This early access isn’t geared towards the players whom have played all along. We can buy the Masks with vert later.

They also showed a road map till October.

Not too sure what everyone wants here.

Their hands have been tied if we haven’t noticed : /

You want to see a greedy indie studio look at Killing Floor 2’s crate + key + bundle setup. But hey $20 a bundle funds their seasonal events.

You’d have supported the game by voting with your dollar, not buying bad dlc, and forcing them to put there time into good content. They COULD MAKE WHAT WE WANT they CHOOSE not to cause they wanna drip feed you and play you. And clearly it’s working.

Well congratulations thought processes like what you have right here are what killed this game. You and others like you are why we never got the hunting grounds it could have been. It’s easy to just buy into it. The hard part is saying no and letting them know you expect better. But you all refused to do that. This game WILL NEVER be what we want because of this mind set

The thought process that every indie studio is EA games and you just boycott them and they magically turn around and heed all your demands what kills small games actually. They don’t have the resources to do so and they’re following their own deadlines.

Technically you aren’t getting the masks for $20 ,they (who have the other skins) are paying $20 to have it earlier .

Again. You seem to be missing the point. They could have sold it separately, they chose not to. Cause they wanna take as much money from y’all as humanly possible, so they came up with a bundle (excuse) to sell it for 20 bucks. And it worked. If no one bought said bundle, they would have went ehhh yeah that was egregious we probably should have known that wouldn’t work. INSTEAD it sold like crazy. You WILL see more nonsense like this now. There is an option to wait for free release. People just have to be patient. At least its not like the preorder exclusive for JH. Yes, it’s a shady tactic, but noone is forcing anyone to buy now.
