I love this new game mode.... is something I'd say about a 2v8 or 3v10

It’s ok the new mode is just brainless fun and chaos if you enjoy tdm and just mindless killing then this is the game mode for you…but me personally I’ll stick to hunt or wait for 2 pred vs 8 ft or i might just uninstall until they add that I don’t know yet

Personally, they should make a 3v9, like Predators. I’m just trying to figure out how they would balance it out.

Even more than just that. Part of the balance (in Hunt at least) is the AI soldiers and the mission objectives. Forcing the players to move, and do something other than camp a warehouse and snipe. By making it full Predators, the balance automatically tips in the FT’s favour. There needs to be something to distract and disorient the FT. Maybe there being no reinforcements might help, but it requires some intensive thinking and tweaking.

The other one leaked is Gauntlet. 15 players. So likely a 3V12. Or 3V6V6.

Yea that’s what i want to play 24/7 ft sweats vs another ft sweats oh and then i can maybe play predator and get melted by one team any way…

I get it. I see thing game mode popular with newcomers and casuals. Maybe illfonic is trying to recruit some of the COD community with this mode. Its still to early to make a call on it though. I feel like some people will like it while other will eventually give it a passing grade.

Perhaps. I definitely don’t like the very fast pace. Would have liked it to be more methodical. But I guess you can’t do that without reworking a lot of things. FTs are glass cannons against each other. If you don’t make it a deathmatch, matches will be over in 2-3 mins. I watched one vid. Syringes are kinda pointless since you revive quickly anyway.

For sure. It’s a dumbed down version. Still, though this sucks for longtime PHG players, it will bring in new people. From the business side, I get the move.

Though thick skin is quite usefull lets you atleast get more than one kill before you get blown to smithereens by the onslaught grenades everywhere.

8 v 3 is better, either 12 v 3 as in AVP 1

OR

8 v 3 from predators 2010
