Yeah, I get it. Those types of experiences would make it harder to trust anyone, but you should still try opening up to new people.
You can be friendly with people and sociable without letting them get close

Tried at first with some of my co workers. One said yeah man let’s hang out then ditched, Lot of others very high school drama oriented, or younger.
Nothing against 18 and 19 year old’s, but about to be 25 and not really wanting to hang around high school kids, people who aren’t of age to drink or smoke (keeps me out of trouble), or people who are two faced. I personally am more the type be honest and upfront.

I get that, sadly positivity not my middle name also I rarely drink but do smoke a good (vape and some cigarettes), and have to be 21 for those so wanna keep people around least that old and who understand moderation and not act out
