I need to know something

Is this game just a giant FU to the predator? I’ve come back after 7 months gone, and I am in shock. It looks like ranged play is completely dead because you can’t stand in one place for more than 2 seconds without instant death. Is the meta really as stupid as hopping around like rabbit with down syndrome waving a sword around? Seriously? Pred has slow weapons, does little damage, and can’t engage in any meaningful capacity unless they’re hopping around in melee range? What the actual F?

Am I missing something? Please tell me if I’m wrong, and how I’m wrong. I want to be wrong.

Not even close to the meta right now lol

Elder stalker, dithered lens, down range, and go for one shot plasma shots or disc spam (cause you get three of them now)

or Hunter/CH fervent to quickly snowball teams with bow fire

Melee right now is just a funny gimmick via ghost and wrathful that doesn’t actually work against teams that know how parry works or just use frag grenades and ACIGS

Fervent+Disc+Downrange, is easy wins. I never played Pred before 2.19 but when I did, that build made me strong and I loved it, I actually felt powerful as the Predator.

Samurai+ghost+katana+bow/hhpc+fearless+downrange= dead FTs.

Scout+disc+disciplined+downrange= dead FTs
