The game is agonizing. Nothing will save it. Especially with such “balance” where 2 FT players can kill the full hp Pred.

2 FT players would get butchered if the predator is good. I’ve seen predators melee 3 people from full to 0 so both sides can make such statemants.

That’s not the question of “goodness”. You can also make a 4vs1 mode in CoD or CS:GO and “if the solo player is good, he can still kill 2, 3 or even 4 another players”. But it is not “balance”, it’s just the question of personal skill. In 4v1 games 1 or 2 should not be able to kill The One if he’s not afking. Otherwise… what can you do against 4 good players in premade with voice? Leave?

Of course they should. People like you just want to dominate people with no skill needed. If you are as good as them YOU WILL WIN, if not, YOU LOSE. That is how it should be.

In 1v1 games, yes. In 4v1 - no. Read the example above. Moreover, the goal of Fireteam - not to “kill the Predator” solo or in 2 faces, but to SURVIVE and escape. Good luck, have fun with your veiw on “balance” in almost dead game. Guess it will die this year. Completely.

What you’re saying is like if the predator just sit there and does nothing with 1 guy shooting then he should still win because all 4 should shoot at him.
2 players are 50% of the team, if they can overcome with SKILL then its valid. This is not a game where 4 people need to shoot at the same time to damage something.
The goal of the game is complete mission and evac or KILL THE PREDATOR and DISARM to win. Those are the 2 conditions that the FT has to win.
PS. If we go by your logic the moment the predator kills 1 person the 3 should just leave. If you don’t have 4, the predator becomes invulnerable right?

Nope. My logic is that if you let Predator to kill (and claim) 1 or 2 persons you still have reinforcement. If you let the Pred kill 1-2 of your teammates and haven’t damaged him heavily during this accident, if you have no more reinforcements and you’re still 2 - yes, you can’t win by killing the Predator, only by hiding and escaping.
P.S. We still have almost 0 opportunities to split the FT. What is more, even if they split (by chance or because of someone’s dumbness), they still kill the Pred in 2 faces. It’s ridiculous.
P.P.S. It’s not the “Predator Hunting Grounds”. It’s a “group of hunters get their fun hunting on one bit dangerous animal”. Like hunting on a tiger or bear.

If 1 person is dead that means you can’t reinforce bud since the predator can’t be killed by 3 people.
Its irrelevant what its called. If you want people to que FT then you can’t turn them into fodder for the predator as you want.

Thats some high end pc bow gameplay. Hard to compare that to the average pred player.
You will never chase the Predator down unless he’s out of stamina this game is all skill based… some people are good some people are bad just the way life works this game is very easy on both sides
You can destroy a predator with only 2 people with lmgs it’s very easy

I think their issue is that they want to be able to reliably destroy the pred as two scouts with pistols instead.

James Cameron does this on his own when he is bored. Once he have the predator a 14 minute head start and still won. The pred was called something like @Drakos
Lol what are four ps4 players going to do against the top 10% of pc preds hopping around with a bow? Unless you give them aim assist they can’t track a pred hitting them like that ever. Massive skill gap but yes lets pretend you’ve seen bunnyhopping bow predators in even an small percentage of your matches.
They didn’t have a chance the same way pubs in counter strike don’t stand a chance against smurfs. There is no skill based matchmaking.
If the predator is really bad, sure. For instance LMG suck at a distance.
I bet this is the reason why so many people want to nerf FT. Because all they do is melee and expect to destroy the entire team. When that FT uses counters (LMG, parry) they scream bloody murder!
I know they can’t. Those are the casual players who are already getting destroyed. Nerfing them even more is not the answer… Well if you want to get a que pop on predator. I even made a post in the forums post he made with that video on this.
People want to nerf “counters” (lmgs and parry that dont actually have a niche they’re just good at everything lol lmg is a pocket minigun even at medium ranges doesnt even slow you down but lets pretend being able to kill a zerk with half a mag is bad. Its a more meta AK for people that miss. Meanwhille parry just negates melee playstyles entirely if your team isnt afk.) One guy parrying and the other carrying an lmg is a dead predator during the stun and this is 90% of my braindead wins in pubs. Vast majority of bow preds can’t hit anything (ps4 preds lol) so they can’t put out enough damage before we either finish the objectives that take 5 mins or b. they try to commit to a kill, quick claim, or try to melee for easier dmg and die.
The two playstyles for pred are - play super fucking far away outside of big damage range of most guns prefiring caster shots around corners.
B. Cornercheck and hop around with bow like its unreal tournament above
And I guess C. Stab ps4 players in the back because they cannot spin around to parry or hit a leaping/sprinting pred.

Dude, LMG is bad at range. Leap to him or come from the back. If you are in his face you should melt! This is the reason why I run AR (hammerhead). If the pred is on me (like in melee range) I go knife or I am dead before I can melt him.
If you find a guy that can parry and he sees you coming and has a mate with an LMG next to him and you still commit to kill him(from about full health)… You’re doing something very wrong.
How much damage does a spear throw? Its 1 shoot, now that is some good damage. You’re not going to find FT at full health most of the time. So yeah, 1 shoot!
Parry does not negate melee play style. Melee is what kill people the most in this game, you’re just expected to do more then just run at the FT and swing for the win!(This actually works most of the time against PS players). Come from the back, swing a few, when he turns around and equips the knife, combistick his face (throw it). Or just use net gun, that is mandatory if all you want to do is run melee.
Bow is fine on PS predators assuming he is facing other PS FT… If he is facing PC players… Yeah… I’ve seen a PS pred gun down with plasma pistol all 3 of my PS team mates. I revived them, then I got to see the predator repeat that event again. They just stood there in the open looking around and trying to return fire as they where getting killed.

If you are dying to melee or letting your whole team die to melee you are doing something wrong especially if the pred isnt running netgun with it that’s mandatory for melee to even be viable.
You are dying from melee because you’re using hammerhead either panic reloading, nading yourself, or focusing on parrying 7 times in a row hoping your team will focus down the pred which they won’t. Backpedal and hold down the fire button at the preds face, the only time they kill me with a melee string ever before losing 75% hp or second winding is if I get cornerchecked by an elder sword. If they’re using katana it does no upfront damage vs a support so I can just parry it at half hp and pop a syringe and the pred is dead by then. You only need one good parry, not 4 in a row. Usually ps4 ft’s can clean up if I must be the first to go down. This is MAJORITY of my FT matches just afk grinding with gearhead support and an lmg. It’s not a counter its just good at everything minus sniping for people who don’t feel like trying.
Melee and being in melee range is trash period thus negated as a playstyle because you are forfeiting a bunch of hp for single target damage and animations that allow people to get free hits on you. 90% of predators don’t play at sniper range where the damage drop off for LMG even matters.

There is a difference between the predator and playing as part of the FT, you can improve yourself, not others. You can choose the platform you play the game, can’t choose for others. So no, that does not apply the other way around.
If you think any decent predator is going to die when you backpadel and empty your mag in his face… I am at a loss for words, this could work on noobs but that is it. You can’t out DPS him when he is in your face with melee. If you don’t pull your knife out, you’re dead.
Unless you’re playing as a premade team where people communicate, the predator is going to get lots of chances where people are separated to do his thing, kill 1 guy and go eat a pig.
The LMG is bad even at medium range. It spreads to much. The LMG is only good at close range when the pred does not focuses you (you need your knife out).
