What? We have lost to many preds, sometimes over the most simple mistakes. Like I said, there are no unbeatable Fireteam players, just like there are no unbeatable preds.

To be honest I didnt even think about this.
This brings up a HUGE problem with a ranking system.
Because this can be exploited to stay in a lower rank as ft if youāre simply going off wins and losses so that you only fight lower preds.
This is one of the many things that goes to show, this game needs a lot of work.

Well, first, this game needs a matchmaking system in order to implement any kind of ranked mode.
Second, this game isnāt fluid and is full of bugs, some of those can make you lose the game and Iām speaking for both sides, since I play both Pred and FT.
If you ever played any Counter Strike game, like any version, you know how fluid it is when it comes to gameplay, playing as FT is no where near that.
Playing as Pred, oh well, the game itself is against you + 4 FT members.
It really feels like an unfinished product, there are bugs from beta that are still āaliveā.
So before any ranked system, they gotta fix bugs that will improve the gameplay itself and then matchmaking system, before even considering the ranked mode.
This game does not have enough population to support proper matchmaking and ranking. Imagine the top predators que if they need to wait for equally good FT member to pop, preferable on the same platform as them. Just ask PC preds to turn off cross play and ask them how long they wait =)).
Well I waited around 15 minutes for two games as Pred. Got full teams, ofc, I always have crossplay on for faster queues.
Iāve tried on FT to turn off crossplay, after around 8 minutes I gave up and turned it back on, 30 seconds later I got a pop :)
Not many PC peeps still rolling in this game.
I tried it with cross play off on PC one night, a few months ago. I feel asleep and when I woke up 3:34 hours later I was queued to an all PC FT team. And I got melted in 5 min. by a bunch of russians lol. Granted this was around 2 am PST.

Many? Before specializations? Ever since I started playing with a PC premade our fireteam only lost to 2 of us as Predators. Even with crossplay off we havenāt lost in matchmaking, not bragging, we usually use 2 field medics + 2 dutch 87 or scout duelist so its too overpowered and unbalanced against the Predators.
Thatās how it rolls for the past few months. :)
We lose in privates against a couple of our friends. In regular quick play matches we lose when we have troll loadouts and nerf ourselves.
Do you remember what Perks the Predator used? Did you guys just play ranged with bow and caster? I am trying to find the most effective strategy against PC premadesā¦
Hunter with modified reserve, impenetrable, down range with katana and bow.
Viking with impenetrable, adrenal boost, protection with alpha sickle and spear, but the katana is better, use it instead of sickle.
We use plasma a lot too.
