I think Target Isolation on round start should be tweaked

Pred main here.

On round start Predator instantly knows where the FT is at because he can check their position right before they mud themselves (and no, FT doesn’t always spawn exactly on the opposite side of the Pred)

Which gives Predator:

  • Ability to keep on FT toes right from the start with hit n run tactics (unless the FT is really good and forces Pred into 2nd wind after which he looses them)
  • Access to pressure FT hard right at the start. Just poking them up with the arrows or plasma shots constantly.

And if Predator uses Adrenal Boost perk it’s even easier to close the distance between the pred and ft (you can add “long leap” to that aswel)

Example (this is basically how my last 5 matches ended up in a row)

Now I don’t say it’s OP (especially in pre-made FT games on discord), but in general I think it’s not okay to get the exact FT location on match start.

They can mud up before you can scan, so they deserve to be found if they neglect their counter.

You can scan them right before they mud up. You can test in in private lobby if you want.

I mean I feel you get the “exact” location cause we are all lazy and just sprint to OBJ that being said we all know how isolation scan works. If we really wanted to, we could mud up, walk off the usual trail for a bit. Keep low, then push obj and completely avoid the predator. You aren’t finding people because of isolation scan you are finding them because we don’t care if we are found.

That’s not how it works. You don’t just mud up and “keep low”. The second I hit the scan - I know your exact location. And I literally can close the gap between us in about ~13 seconds or even faster. By that time it doesn’t matter if you covered in mud or not, I know the general idea where you are and Im free to start hit n run pressure unless you manage to fend me off by hitting really hard.

That is how it works. I’ve played the game absolute fuck loads. You don’t know anyone’s exact location you get a big ass bubble that goes away the moment we mud up.

And yet don’t understand anything.

You do. Target isolation gives you EXACTLY that. You can check it just by scanning them while being close to them. It highlights an exact pinpoint location of every FT member. From further away it works the same way.

That “big ass buble” is everything I need to know. Period. I see you - and I instantly start leaping there and the distance is closed in less than 10 seconds (Im uploading another example of this shit as we speak).

So get your shit right. Everyone here has played “absolute fuck loads” of this game. No need to play smartass when you dont understand how things work the in the game to begin with.

You trying to just undermine me by saying, “yet you don’t know anything” . Dog. It’s a fuckin bubble lol. And you don’t get it for long if they just instantly mud up. And Fireteams always just sprint and don’t give a fuck cause why would they. If you really really wanted to, you could lay low, you could hug edges of the map, and you could make it more problematic to find you. Fireteams just don’t care if they are found all that much

Also why are you Aggro out of your mind. I was just telling you the answer to your question. “GET YOUR SHIT RIGHT” relax big hoss I know you’re upset cause you thought you were the hunting grounds lord lol

If the OP is right then the starting cooldown of the scan needs to be increase so people have the time to mud up. The reason why you pick starting location from the ones available is so the Predator does not know where you start.
@DisturbedLlana Its irrelevant if people sprint or not, that is not the topic of the discussion. If a predator can scan before you can cover with mud when the game starts, then that is a problem. If people just sprint then that is on them but if the game starts, I immediately mud up and I can’t do it before the can scan, then THAT is the problem.

I really think this is that buddha kid with another account.

Target isolation is garbage, only good for finding pigs and people who dont care if you find them.

So think about what you just said. It doesn’t matter if you sprint. If all you know is, “go this general direction” then the bubble goes away, is it going to be easier to find them if they are sprinting about not giving a fuck, or if they move to the unused parts of the map, keep it slow, and don’t go to the locations every predator immediately check. What sounds like it’s a better option.

I see we like to repeat ourselves, even tho we cant argue for shit, do we?

This literally has nothing to do with the actual topic lol since it doesnt address the fact that I know your general location within a matter of 10 seconds of the game start.

Again.
This literally has nothing to do with the actual topic lol since it doesnt address the fact that I know your general location within a matter of 10 seconds of the game start.

A.K.A. “I can’t make think of a single argument so I just gonna drop my tantrum on this guys since he knows his shit but bruh I gotta keep replying for the sake of replying.”

I literally responded with an argument, then sent a second one asking why you were Aggro. So this response is AKA I hate it when people question me and I’m 26 years old living at home so I get agitated quickly

The fireteam never actively is trying to be hidden, I’m sure if they did they would be harder to find

The sprinting is irrelevant to the discussion here. Its simple. If the predator can scan before you can mud up its not ok and the cd needs increased. If people don’t play right and you can use that to track them then good, that is what you’re supposed to do.

Exactly. And this is indeed a thing. People can check that by themselves by doing it in private matches but I guess it’s easier to just be stupid and argue for the sake of arguing without any actual backing up to their statements.

Thank you. And here is another prove.

You didn’t. But I still cared to reply to each of your dumb statements. Cuz why not lol.

What the fuck me being aggro has to do with the ACTUAL problem? The fact that I know your exact location on game’s start? Me being aggro on makes my point stronger cuz I do care to wipe you all out asap.

And here, smartass. “It’s just a buble”

He can get your general location, which on one of the 3 maps, he’s going to know anyways at the start. So you can literally just mud up and go around him. Don’t just sprint at OBJ. It’s very relevant. The fact that you can’t comprehend why sprinting about through the jungle is why you are actually being found and not that he sees you are on the opposite side of the map at one of the two possible spawns, is interesting to me. Before I even knew what target isolation was I’d go to the spawns anyway. There are THREE maps. THREE. We know where the spawns are. Also it’s target isolation scan, nerf it. Not sure anyone would care.

For the last time. YOU DONT you know my location for a second then I can go where ever the fuck I want doofus. So if I chose to fumble about and you knew where I was at spawn, I will be easy to find, if you head straight at the bubble you saw, but see no one running around, don’t hear anyone, and we all, I dunno, mudded up and hid, then you in fact do not know where the fuck anyone went. You’ll find them soon as soon as the shooting starts anyways , which is why I’m lost to why you care about this so much. Like damn Target iso OP. WAT
