By that time they are completely invisible and once Im there they are already in on the objective doing their tasks, not drained on supplies and health. Not sure at what lvl you play, but once you play pre-made pc fteams they are generally much harder to uproach once they get out of the jungle / close to the buildings and play coordinated. Not to mention they constantly stay muded up. 3 guys looking for pred while 1 is doing the objective. Next obj? Repeat.

Just add a bonus achievement for every round played without using target isolation. Or if a player feels they are an elite predator then just don’t use it.

As someone who plays 50-50 both teams I’m fine with it. As FT the only time it bothers me is if I’m last man standing and I’m going for reinforcements. I sometimes think the pred should need to hunt the final player old school. Then again if I play clever. Stay mudded and quiet then I can usually get to the radio. Activate it and mud up quickly again and hide in the bushes before the pred arrives. Done this a few times where he’s ran straight past me.

All these videos prove nothing. They are the exception not the rule. They are the 3 out of 100 matches where it’s not just casual gamers having some fun. Out of the hundreds of rounds I’ve played the quickest I have wiped an FT or been wiped by pred is about 3 mins and that was due to randoms not working together.

Most people are forced to play with randoms as we don’t all play PC and use discord. That’s why there’s usually one guy who doesn’t mud up and gives away our position.

Aside from extending the mission time for FTs, Illfonic would have to redesign how missions work to get a true feeling of hunting and being hunted within the game. Not only are objectives very short but the FT members are able to advance the objectives while apart. The very good FTs who want to run through them will have split up to where the next objective will appear and trigger it the second it shows up.

The game would be way more interesting if all those mission items and shit the FT team members picked up were actual objects that drop when killed. This would force the remaining members that split up to backtrack and get the mission items. This allows for the predator to setup traps and prepare for an ambush if the team had split up. This also brings tension on the FT side because they’re losing time and oh shit they hear predator gear buzzing noises nearby the mission items.

As FT I rarely fear the pred. If I lose it’s mainly due to randoms running off or not mudding up. Not because the pred is op.

Playing as pred I feel in constant danger from the FT and god forbid I take some damage because then they start hunting me and with the blood trails you sometimes can’t get away.

Maybe there’s issues for preds on pc playing ps4 players who have a huge disadvantage but for the vast majority of games played worldwide I’d say we just need a few tweaks to make the FT feel less confident and make the pred feel dangerous.

That buble gives your exact location at which I leap in less than 10 seconds. The fact that you “run” away few meters doesn’t change shit. By the time I close the gap that mud is meaningless.

Because If I didn’t knew their exact location within the 10 seconds on the start of the match It would be much harder for me to play around them and hit them by surprise or use any other exploit.

On top of that the mud would actually mean something DURING the beggining of the game. When we play pre-made games on discord we usually dont isolate on the beggining so the matches could be a little bit more dragged out. Win or loose but it’s much more entertaining when FT doesn’t get exposed the exact moment target isolation becomes available.

On top of that it basically completely nullifies the importance of spawn point choosing for FT. Im not sure why it’s there to begin with if I know their spawn as soon as I can press that “x” promt.

Clearly. A very LONG DRAWN out videos. One wipe happens in the span of 30 seconds of the first engagement, the other ends in about 1 minute after I spot them. LMFAO. Games ended before they hits 13 minute mark. Got anything something else to say?

• FT spawn choosing is irrelevant because Isolation on game’s start completely nullifies it’s importance.
• You can end games withing 1-2 minutes. And that’s been my games on public matches almost daily.

look if they are to remove isolation from the game to find the FT, the isolation needs to pick up all pigs on the map and infrared needs better visual quality, where you can actually see the terrain. frankly i am a predator i wanna stay infrared mode more often then not. AVP 2010 in my opinion nailed the infrared spectrum where you can clearly see the terrain and negative spaces, instead of it all just being solid blue.
