If that was the case then the sack head Jason should have been the exclusive in F13 instead of the Savini skin. He was the 1st and therefore in that same mindset an exclusive.
I think they should release the 87 Predator skin already
You think the content that was given out in preordered copies of AVP2010 or Colonial Marines have their Pre-Order Bonuses out to the public?

The Predator means the most to me, the 1st Predator ever should be played by all not just those who pre-ordered the game. That is the right way to do it. However I am not in charge of illfonic or even their Dev team. As a long time fan of Predator and a pre-order player, I am just saying I wouldnât mind if they did decide to give it as a way of making up to the other players for all of the bugs and exploits they we as a player base currently deal with.
We are losing players and I know the illfonic team said we have big things in the next couple of weeks coming but it still doesnât make up for the mistakes that have already been made.
donât know if they had any plans to ever release that. I know the moding community had a blast with that game though, so there really wasnât a need for it.
The forums are not representative of the player base. So even if forum members have stopped playing that isnât evidence that others have. Weâd need numbers to have a real debate.
The games population will rise and fall like a tide between patchâs, getting lowest (normally) just before big drops of content. If weâre on a similar schedule to other games, every 3 months there will be a slow dip, followed by an increase in total players as new people join ie buy the game. Old players will cycle out to play other titles but most will cycle back in a number of times.
Thatâs how these things work, little dips donât mean anything looking at the whole chart.
I donât doubt the notion that there should be content made for players who owned the game since launch and had to deal with all the hardships of the product in the first few weeks, not at all. But giving out 87 just like that is just not the play. It was a Exclusive bonus to Pre Ordering the game. I donât get whatâs so hard getting that.
The number of sales have been steadily climbing but as far as play times and matches the ayer base has shrunk a bit. I just hope with the next update and dlc drop we pick back up those who left. Many have said that they are done altogether though and that should worry us because those people we wonât get back. Not only that but as the sales start to level off the number of trade ins with start to climb and then we really start to lose players.
As long as the game breaking bugs are fixed I will be back in the jungle
Not that I am not getting it but I am also thinking in broader terms of sales and pulling in more players. If people knew they could play as the original Predator that might boost sales enough to allow to make it to the next major DLC drop.
This is going to be a big thing if and when the Dutch 87 skin drops and if they ever add in trip wire traps and area traps. To be able to have an actual recreation of the 1st movies events in game play would bring in the masses.
I donât think it will, the game needs to just keep grinding that schedule and adding content. You get to be Dbdâs size by steadily adding to your game. Illfonic is on the right track so far.
I guess we will all have to just wait and see. It would be great if the content kept adding more and more and the game evolved into complete movie recreations. They could base solo missions off of that and even add new content to the multi-player maps. It could be a crazy game if they go all in and add everything that made the movies as great as they were.
I for one donât want to see this game die for a long time. I was truely saddened by what occurred to F13. That game had such great potential but the court battles for control of the franchise ruined any chance we had in turning that into one of the greatest Jason games ever. I hope and pray that doesnât happen to Predator Hunting Grounds.
It would be but thatâs going to take time. The rest of this years content, is probably mostly planned. Maps, modes, events (assuming we have them). Predators almost certainly on a set development path, probably some FT dlc too.
(It was the greatest Jason game ever⌠we only got two⌠ok 3 but the commodore one sucked.)
It could have been so much more though if things didnât go down the way they did.đ If we got everything they wanted to add it would have been extremely hard to top that for a while when it comes to a Jason game. Now the franchise is in limbo and God only knows when or if we will ever see another Friday the 13th game and or official movieâŚ
It also doesnât say itâs an exclusive unlock. All it says is âyou can unlock it with the code.â Technically itâs locked in game until you reach level 100, so the code lets you unlock it right away. I donât think the word âexclusiveâ was in either article.
It does say exclusive on the box. Thereâs a sticker. Exclusive only means one thing. You can twist words all you want. In the end I donât care though.
