I think we need to up the anti-hacking/exploit system.

I got into a game with a bunch of ps4 players, and was able to successfully down and claim two, but there was a third, and when I downed him, somehow he lasered me (WHILE HE WAS DOWNED) took my mask off, and made me go into second wind, and then downed me. I know it was him because he had a bunch of Predator damage towards the end of the match.

Now I know what you’re thinking, 'cause I thought the same: It was the other player shooting me, right? WRONG. The other player, A Dutch, was in a camp behind the other player and away from the action. The hacker/exploiter baited me by going off on his own.

I thought the PC players were the hackers mostly (I play on PC as well) which is why I was dumbfounded when this happened to me. I don’t know whether or not it’s a hack or an exploit, but that shouldn’t be able to happen. This player has been reported to Illfonic and hopefully they can see the playback of the match and ban this player.

The getting shot through walls/lasered at intervals by bullets from nowhere is a desync issue when the pred freezes on another FT members screen, but your pred will still move like normal but continue to take damage.

If you’re in a game and anyone is 90+ ping just back out because the match is going to be a buggy awful experience. It’ll screw up your eating pigs/claims etc too.

And getting ping that bad is commonplace, since matchmaking is not regional first. Basically every time I play Pred I get shit ping games, less often when playing FT.
Shit ping does make it very hard to be a sniper, or use most pred weapons since they are very much based on accuracy and not spammage.

if you have 100 ping or over as pred… best hope there is not one ft member with 4

PS4 player are most likely far from hacking. Bug exploits maybe but any time macros or line hacks aren’t really possible on consoles

Definitely feel you, I played a game where I was making my first approach on the FT right when the game barley started. I was in the trees about 200 meters out and I was being spotted while invisible! Then they just started lasering my ass. Unreal… and on top of that EVERY time I would jump to a new location to attack they would already spot me and laser me again. Like how did they even know where I was at? I would run on the ground and jump to a new spot and they would still find me? Not even done yet.

So I wanted to see how the hell they kept finding where I was so I ran to a random spot on my map and went to heal with a healing kit. Perfectly hidden invisible and in bushes and they still found me! There are definitely hackers in the game and it ruins the fun. I quit instantly after that I don’t entertain hackers once I release they are cheating…

I can track the Pred by sound alone… they are so noisy.

Although, might be hackers… Only the players you were versing would know.
